I have hard water stains on my Black Lincoln Towncar. The water is from the sprinkler system in my front yard. The water left hard, calcium like deposits and will not wash off.

What is the best way to remove these spots from black paint or a chrome finish?

ok, here is the story - I was buying car in one state,but unfortunately,state law requires you to have state licence,you can't finance car with out-of-state licence. i asked friend to help me - i bought car on his name, loan is on my credit, but he's also on application cause he's the owner. now i want to settle it - cause he's my friend and i don't want money stand between us. somebody told me that it's possible to re-register car on my name after some time. but i don't know proper way to do it. cause now i need to register this car in my state, refinance it the way my friend is not going to be on applicaion. what is the right way to do it? what must be done first? is it possible first place?

The whole tube with the nut rotted away from the intake manifold. We tried to get the remainder of the nut out of the manifold with an ez out, but no luck. Could an auto shop retap the hole without replacing the intake manifold?

ok, i'm a 16 year old girl that wants to be a airline pilot really bad! but i've heard and read some articles on how to begin this whole thing. i've got ppl telling me to join the military, the marine, the national guard,etc. b/c in there you can fly for free. but then i hear some ppl(my dad) say not to join it, especially a girl. but i mean, i dont really care about HOW do i become a pilot, i know you need to have self disaplines in the military and all that, but still....i dont care, i will do whatever it takes(if it helps me to reach my goal)

ive got warped crossed drilled rotors and alot of people been telling me that they CAN be resurfaced but ive been calling every place that does brake work and tells me that they CANT! is there a special kind of machine that will only do crossed drilled rotors or what? can somebody with this kind of knowledge PLEASE help me!!

i'm not that great at driving a 5 speed just yet. i have only driven two cars with a 5 speed and for a limited time only. the problem i have is when i come to a stop..i usually choke the engine and it dies out on me..and i have to restart the car again.
the other problem is when i'm driving, i don't know when and what gear i should really be on..and the car starts jerking like a biatch.
i look foolish driving a stick shift in public..i am afraid i might cause an accident.

yet, i still want to drive an S2000 because i like that car. should i get it? i want one with a rear glass window and the better suspension and LED lights..so i figure 2004-2006 only.
used ones and salvage title ones are going for around $12-14k..which is kinda cheap for a car with 244hp.

other concerns are that people love jacking S2000's for their seats. the seats go for about $600 dollars on the black market. i see thieves all the time trying to sell them on Craigslist.

should I get an S2000?

1. Is it better to only fill your gas tank up about half way or 2/3 rather than completely full?

2. How much more does it ACTUALLY cost to use mid-grade opposed to normal unleaded and high-grade opposed to mid-grade?

my thoughts:
For the first one, the extra weight from the full tank of gas could decrease fuel economy, but also, if you filled up less that would mean you'd have to fill up more often, using gas in the process.

and for the second one, the higher grade costs more, but possiblly increases fuel economy because of it's higher octane.

i just hit 5000 miles, i changed my oil, i rotated my tires myself, screw a dealership's prices for those services, but my main reqd light stays on, i have tried everything i have seen on yahoo answers to get the light off, everything besides going to the dealership where i just know there is going to be a bull-s service fee for it if anyone knows pls tell me how to do it
