My car is stuck in the Wal Mart parking lot! Car had no symptoms or problems beforehand. I just went out there ......and nothing. Ok... Alternator is new... just got it last month. So is the battery. I tried jumping and and got nothing. So I got the battery tested and its good. Checked the grounds and all the good stuff. My guess now is .... THE STARTER or STARTER SOLENOID? What do you think? Also when I turn the key... the lights on the dash come on but I get no clicks from the car starting. BUT... something weird has been happening. When I have the door open, without the key in the ignition, I here a clicking noise coming from the fuse panel under the steering wheel. And if I push on the brake it stops for about 30 seconds. Also there are bundles of wires attached to 3 different plugs that go into the bottom of the panel. Detaching the one on the far right also stops the clicking noise. What the hell is up with my car? Where do I start!?

If you were going to buy a late model used car that was to be used primarily for in town driving by adults and you didn't want to break the bank in getting into something reliable: what would you be looking for and about how much would you ballpark the cost? THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.

I've never driven a diesel car before and was wondering what the benefits of doing so are vs. driving a gasoline-powered vehicle.

I got my wife a Mazda RX8 two years ago. Now she wants a "new car", but I really can't think what would be better. (NB It must have 4 seats.) Mercs are for fat old businessmen and footballers' orange wives, BMWs are for estate agents with buckles on their shoes and too much hair gel, so don't suggest Merc or BMW.

I do wonder what could have caused the B737-800 to apparently nose-dive into the Amazon after the collision with an Embraer Legacy which actually made a safe emergency landing. Cabin Depressurisation ?

My metal eyeglass frame has broken at the nose piece (separating the glasses into two halves). The break occurred riight where the curved nose piece attaches to the main frame just next to the lens.

A previous soldered repair "sealed" the screw such that I cannot take the lens out, so that soldering is out. I did "try" some super glue, but it didn't hold. However, it was not a "brand name" and may not have been the best choice. Is there a glue/cement/epoxy that I can use to attach (perhaps just 1-2 mm of contact is avaialable) the two parts of the metal frame to get a "good enough" repair? I am not certain of the material but it is light, and possibly aluminum or a light alloy.

I wear contacts, so these are backups and I don't wanrt to spend $$$ for a new set since I rarely use them.

Also, any recommnedqations on how to improve the bond to give it the best strength would also be helpful.

I placed this question here since the consideration is a "metal repair"

Thanks in advance

I am planning to buy a bike in the next month or so, i was confused over which bike i should buy. There are currently three bikes that i have found interesting (Pulsar 150 DTSi, Honda Unicorn and TVS Apache). I want a bike which gives decent mileage (50+),has good build quality and smooth engine operation.
