I unfortunately backed into a car parked on double yellow lines in my village. Can anyone tell me - am I liable for the damage to his car as it is illegal to park on double yellow lines at any time?
Thanks for your help. N

There are many crashes a year with taxi drivers being involved, they tend to have a agressive attitude on the road.

They are on the road much more than an average driver with passengers at their risk.

In many cities it is rare for a Taxi driver to keep to the speed limit and the police seem to be leaniant towards them.

Should they take an additional driving test to make sure they are suitable for their job?

Hi I'm in Central New Jersey Looking to get to Coney Island. The only route Ive found from NJ involves going to the Port Authority Bus Station and would take a few hours. Couch USA has a route but the earliest is 3 something in the afternoon. Seems like there must be a way but I'm new to the Public Transportaion here. Thanks!

I've been using a rucksack for carrying uni papers and textbooks, but the zip is going and I need something else.

I'd like something more like a courier bag e.g. single shoulder-strap with a pouch hanging near the waist.

Any suggestions for good bag styles, and where to get them?

What do you use for school / uni / work / whatever?

2 years ago I got my motorcycle learners permit.Last May after I passed the Motorcycle Safety class and getting my endorsement my boyfriend gave me a 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster 883. He won't let me go out alone. He says women don't ride alone. Now granted it's my bike in his name and his insurance and it's about 250 pounds heavier than the Honda Rebel I learned on, so I understand him wanting to be with me while on it, but he doesn't feel I should get my own eventually and ride by myself. How does everyone else feel on that.

It seems as if their aircraft seems to mess up. On our way to Dulles, the steering got stuck (during the pre-flight check) and we ended up on Delta (thank goodness--much better service). On the way back from Dulles, we were stuck with Northwest. Everyone was on board and the electricity kept cutting out and they couldn't start the jet engines, so we had to disembark and get on an alternate plane. Could this be fallout from the mechanics' strike a year ago? Also, the Northwest flight attendants acted like they had chips on their shoulders. We are flying Delta or United from now on, no matter how expensive it is.

I bought a car 59 days ago and just out of nowhere it seizes up . I have taken car of the car since I have had it. I put a 800 down payment on it, and I pay 250 a month for payments. I feel that the dealership intentionally sold me a lemon. They said if I give them 800 more dollars for another down payment on a different car. That they could help. But I feel as if they sold me a lemon. How can I find out if they are obligated to help me. I feel as if they should just put me in another car of equal value with no down payment and just keep my payments the same as they are now. Basicallly just transfer my loan to a different vehicle. There has got to be some sort of law considering I just bought the car 59 days ago . Please someone help.

I purchased this used car for 4000 bucks and I still owe 3000 on it, except yesterday out of nowhere the engine just basically seized up on me. I called the dealership and told them that my car was screwed up. They said that if I give them another $800 down for another down payment on a different car that they would help me out. I don't feel as if I should give them any more money. By some sort of lemon law aren't they obligated to put me in a vehicle that works. Atleast put me in a car of equal value and just keep my payments the same or atleast a somewhat similar. I don't feel it is fair to have to pay for a car that doesn't run expetionally the fact that I have only had the car for about 59 days. I hope someone can help me with an answer. No they never gave me any extended warranty, But there has got to be some law that protects me from this. Please Help..
