check engine light comming on, car will die with no warning or it will go putt putt, gas pedal will be all the way to the floor. alternator ok battery ok fuses ok fluids ok what do i need to check next? sometimes the car runs just fine? 89 buick centry 6cyl

I took the loan out in Sept of 2005. I paid ontime all the interest charges but was unable to pay the whole thing off. Then the car broke down and I defaulted on the loan. Now they are threatening to sue me after I have paid over 1000.00 for a 400.00 loan on top of offering them the car which they turned down because it does not run. I want to sell the car for parts but can't until I can get the title back. I don't think it is fair that I have paid so much and now they are trying to sue me for another 1200.00 on top of what I have paid already. What can I do? I just needed a little help on bills and now I am more in debt than I started. How can I get a title now to sell the parts off my car or sell the car totally?

Has anyone noticed an unauthorized charge on thier credit card after making an on line purchase from JC Whitney. Charge is for about $10.00 from a company named ShopperDiscount. They claim that, you, when making your purchase from JC Whitney ordered this service.
Never repeat never ordered this. When I contacted JCWhitney the first woman who answered the phone hung up on me when I asked her about it. The second call I asked to speak to a supervisor and am still waitng for one to call me back

Is there a corrolation between RMP and gas consumption? I am wondering if it is better (gas wise) to drive 75km/h in third speed at 2500 RMP or fourth speed at 75 at 1500 RPM.

Basicaly, does RMP rhyme with gas consumption?

I got hit by someone with progressive auto insurance. They took liability and Progressive is going to pay for all of my repair. They are going to have me go to their Progressive Service center, specifically the one in Portland Oregon. I want to make sure they are going to do a good job.

Has anyone gotten their car repaired at one of their service centers, or even the one in Portland? Did they do a good job or would I be better off finding my own place to take my car?

I would get a lifetime guarantee on the repair from Progressive. Has anyone ever had problems with this guarantee?
