I got a letter today, saying that my car insurance policy will be terminated near the end of October, less than a month from now. This is because of a minor accident last December and a recent speeding ticket that I just finished traffic school for. What are my options? Are my rates going to be sky high with another company because of this?

Last winter, there were quite a few times when I started the car and let it warm up and didn't actually come back out for an hour and a half! Is that bad?

I have a 75 dodge coronet that I inherited. There is a small plastic piece on the windshield wiper motor that needs replacing but I can not find it anywhere.

I have tried parts stores and junk yards. Ideas?

I looked on Ebay = couldnt find it.

I tried the dodge dealership. They dont make that part anymore.

A car funs a stop sign and hits me. The man doesn't even stop, but when the police man comes he tells me that he will not give the man a ticked because he is an older gentleman with nothing on his record. The man ran the stop sign... So now am I going to be stuck paying my deductible because he didn't receive a ticket. He is obviously at fault.

i just bought a 2007 honda civic lx, the manual says not to drive it too hard for the first 600 miles, but some people that have bought cars say they never give the car a brake in period , and their cars are fine, my friend who lives about 150 miles away from town bought a scion and he took it on the freeway on the way home from the dealer, and he drives over 150 miles freeway every day to work, and hes car seem fine,. should i continue to drive like gramma or just forget about brake-in periods?, my foot aches to play with the gas pedal.

Lets say the front tire. If it blows is ther absolutely no way of staying up? How much does it depend upon your speed? I've ridden in the country for two years, but then moved to L.A., and now am thinking about riding on the freeway. Will a blowout kill you?

I lke something that's sleek and fast, sporty and easy to handle. I want to add a special tank under the rear of the car, loaded with motor oil. Another tank loaded with special nails. Both tanks will be used when a cop comes up behind me with his lights flashing and I take off and let go of some oil sh he spins out of control. What's a good name for my car...the Zorromobile? Girls don't ride for free. It will cost them.

I am in need of a new car, but I would like the car to be in my name since I'm the one paying for it. Right now the car I'm driving is under my mom's name and insurance.

Is it possible to have a car in my name and still have it be on HER insurance (and I cant just pay her) since it's obviously much cheaper (like a 300 dollar/month diference)

I cant find a fuse/relay box under the hood. There is one in the glove box. I unplugged one at a time, but the fuel pump still came on each time(when turning on the key) Auto parts stores are even confused.

It grinds when I turn the key-
I've been told it may be the fuel injector or a bad starter?
Any suggestions?
I'd like to fix it myself if possible...
thanks in advance

a friend of mine was on his way home after having a few beers. he said he was NOT drunk at all, and believe me, he will know when he can't drive. then suddenly, he had said something like a dog or fox ran across the highway--and to avoid hitting the poor animal, he tried to swerve (slightly off to the shoulder). but because of the rain..the car spun out of control hitting the guard rail 3-4 times and totalling his car and deploying the air bags. NO cars were involved, thankfully.

as i was following him from behind..i KNEW that i should have NOT called the cops, cause i knew he would get a DUI..but out of panic i called the cops--because i heard if u don't...insurance won't know what happened without a police report..and won't fix your car. cops came, arrested him, took him to the hospital for a blood test...and it came up .14% and he will possibly face some jail time and heavy fines.
now i feel terrible for calling the cops--could there been a way out of this?

I have never seen the battery fuse blow on my 97 Honda CRV when I left the head lamps on in the past. Why would the fuse blow this time?

The dealer didn't have the 100 amp fuse, I had to order it in. Can you buy this from other auto supply stores?
