Why in India Budget gives "soft" corner to Industralists, Businessmen. Why its always a burden pass on the common community the 'end user' who always suffer in every budget.
In this ESOP - FBT will it not discourage IT & other major sectors' employees opt for a job out side India. Will they not think that Why should we earn just to pay tax to the Government.
India is shinning & Incredible India - HOw in following ways.
a) We collect Road Tax but the Infrastructure of Good Roads will never come up.
b) We will collect Service tax but Govt render Good services to Politicians,Businessmen,Actors,Tax evaders and not to the common community.
c) We collect Eduction Cess where as the standard of Eductation and Cost of Education is like soaring of Prices .
Collection of Huge Fees/Donation will never comes to an end.
Despite all the above collection everyone opts for Overseas Education - perhaps for Standard or any other specific reason ie., non availabiliity of seats and so on

My husband will be living with me in the US on a visa (he is a UK citizen). He will working remotely from the US as an independent contractor (self employed) for UK companies getting paid in GBP (£ pounds). He will do all work from US and never reside in the UK again. All of the GBP payments for his work will be transferred into USD almost immediately from his UK bank account. This will be our US income.

How will his taxes work?
He will obviously pay the majority of his taxes to the US, but will he have to pay any taxes to the UK?

Anyone have experience with this? or have any tips on finding an accountant who has this international knowledge?

Thanks very much

Can a parent(who is the rep.payee) of her 24 disabled daughter's monthly SSI check, claim her as a dependant and/or recieve exemptions, even if she doesn't live with the parent?
What are the guidelines for claiming someone with a disability as a dependant?
I also wanted to ask this same question only regarding the boyfriend of the disabled daughter. Can he claim her as his dependant and/or recieve exemptions for her, if shes been living with him for over a year and hes helping to pay for her expenses?

Please reply if you know the answer or have any helpful advice besides restating the tax guidelines. Thankyou.

..and other public services.
I'm not trying to start an argument about whether the US or Europe, or countries in Europe are better, but it's just I asked a question previously about Americans paying huge college fees. One of the replys stated that taxes in Europe are much higher so you still pay for it, even if not directly. Fair point. Taxes in most European countries are pretty high. But, taxes in Ireland, both personal and corporation are lower than in the U.S...
I guess my question is more complex than originally stated..and I'm not even sure what it is....

I became divorced and was unable to pay even the minimum amounts. I used a debt settlement company who told me I could show insolvency and not have to claim the 5,000 as income. But I don't know how to proceed.
