I got a credit card after I cleaned my credit up. I don't have excellent credit...my score is around 650, but when I got my credit card it was much lower and I think that's why my interest rate was so high. Where can I get a better interest rate and transfer my balance from my other one without being denied?

What will happen to all the loan out there once there 1% interest rate expires and people start to go Negative on their loans instead of paying down the loan. Atleast some of the people, I would guess a large amount of the loans that were given out at this rate was becasue people could not afford a 3,000 - 5,000 dollar payment. So what will happen to all of these people, will they end up losing there homes?

I own my own house that was just built in 2005, but have had a roommate for 4 months. We had a verbal agreement concerning the rent, but he's paid for only 2 of the 4 months and those payments were in cash and in increments. He has never paid the full amount on the first day of the month and so far, I've received nothing for this month.

He's also taken a chunk out of the sink in his bathroom (must've dropped something on it) and ruined or damaged some other furniture and carpets in the house. Did I mention the house is brand new??? Since we never had a written agreement can I just kick him out with no notice? He said he will pay me on the 23rd, so should I hope for that to really happen or just kick him out now?

I work for a small contracting company; I am in the process of working on securing a multi-million dollar contract for them; should I expect a certain percentage for all of my extra work. Or should I just leave and take my contract with me.

I am about to put in my resignation at my job. I will be giving my employer 6 weeks notice and my last day will be January 2, 2007.

1. I have profit sharing which pays out on March 31st 2007 for company profits from Jan 1 06 to Dec 31 06. No where in the profit sharing plan does it have to say that i am employed from jan - march to get paid. If i quit after the full year am i legally entitled to get paid.

2. If i have commission coming in on a sales contract that has been signed by a customer but they will not be paying the amount of the contract due until 4 weeks after i quit, will i still be eligible for that commission if the contract was executed before i left?

Thanks for your help.

I've recently applied for low-income housing. I'm 21 and I hate living with my parents, they argue and fight way too much for me. The thing is, the representative told me that I have a very good chance based on my application, but they will check my credit.
What exactly are they looking for when they do a credit check?
Truth be told my credit is no where near perfect. I have $61 in collections and two credit cards that were once delinquent. They are up to very good standings since I got a much better job. Also, my loan payment is always a month ahead. And, I have about seven inquiries within 12 years since I was trying to get a car. You think I'm going to get rejected? She did say that they werent looking at the actual score, just to see if you had any bank repos or serious collection issues. I'm still so scared and damn anxiosu.

I am self employed working from home & a friend put money into my business when i started, now she wants out {only been up a couple o months} but wants half of our stock & all the petty cash, as she rekons she 'owns' more than me, I have added up all costs we individually paid for & I am about £170ish behind her, I never put in any of my house expences such as bussiness rates, electric or whatever else, would it be sneaky of me to add them now, when sorting it all out??
Just she did nothing & have been up till 3-4am everyday since starting & I am going to begrudge her walking away with all that.

Please give me some advice??

I've been looking for a job and found this job at a site...ok to the details of this worl. This guy lives in the UK...an artist. He sells paintings to the US and wants a representative (me) to collect the money that is sent in my name. I would deposit it in my bank, deduct 10% for myself, and send the rest back to him through Western Union. Sounds cool but what do you guys think? I had to fill out an employment form also through email but it does sound a bit fishy to me. Maybe I eat tooo much fish.
