I am going to a tour of a pharmaceutical company this weekend and the dress is supposed to be professional. i already have the black pants and shoes, but what color blouse is appropriate? I have a very pale green blouse, but i want to know what you people think. thanks.

trying to find the mystical properties some gems are said to have. Esp interested in Garnet, Amyethest, ionite, citrine, lapis lazuli, zircon (the natural stone not zirconia), tourquoise, peridot, quartz in it's various colours, basicially any precious or moe esp semi-precious stones. Anything worn as jewelery. Metals would also be interesting esp silver.

I would also be interested in the physical (scientific ) characteristics, hardness, colour, etc.

Other general info on gemstones would also be appreciated like which places have offficial gemstones, birthstones myths and legends about etc.

I was bought a present of a Gucci necklace, I was told that it is definately genuine but I wanted to make sure. Is there anybody who works for/ is an expert on Gucci?
I would appreciate some hints/tips on how to tell the authentics from the fakes,
It is the two strand ball chain with a long rectangular bar with 'Gucci, made in Italy' written on the very bottom.

My poor husband has Fred Flintstone feet and shoes are so uncomfortable because he needs extra wide. We have a really hard time finding them and think we might have to order them online. Any suggestions? (oh, and we live in California in case you're going to suggest a particular store to visit)
