-SOMEONE-

From the time there's an emptiness
A little something I surely miss
my heart is saying. There’s something wrong...
I wish someone would come along...
someone who will give...
color to my life...
and love...a shoulder to cry on...
Give hope... when all my hope is gone
you smiled at me...
The sweetest smile...
you came into my life at the right time
and you said "HELLO"
suddenly, my heart throbs fast
I can't deny
If you want to make me feel this way
I want to let you know
How you really make my day
you came along just like a song
like a star that struck my heart
your love is like a river
that peacefully ended...
you give me faith
teach me to survive...
you strengthen my weak soul
until you whisper "GOODBYE"
you leave me all alone
even though you're far away
I think about you everyday
distance apart but your memory is in my..HEART!

If love hadn't made him clumsy
if he hadn't fallen forward
had never drowned
in his own perfection
What would he have thought
about his aging face
as it altered, year after year
season by season?
In the old conspiracy
between the eye
and it's reflection, love casts
a primal shadow
Perhaps he would blame
the wrinkling surface of the pool
for what he saw
or think the blemishes
On his once smooth
were simply small fish
just beneath the skin
of the water

I already know about theknot.com and weddingchannel.com (searched them over again and again -- The Knot has some great stuff with Real Weddings that has helped me out) and I have been looking at Brides, Elegant Brides, Modern Bride, etc. They all seem to focus more on the dresses and rings and not on decorations or reception ideas.

We are having an outdoor summertime evening wedding next year and we want it to be in between formal and informal. I was thinking of a country (but not gingham check tablecloths and sunflowers) and sunset theme (idea from a YahooAnswers buddy...Thanks Miss D!!).

Do you know of any books, magazines, websites that would for sure have ideas for what I am talking about or anything you think might have some ideas?

If so, I would greatly appreciate any help!

Thanks!
:)

Here's a chance to use your creative juices for a change:

According to CNN Headline News. Author J.K. Rowling states that the final word of Book 7 of the Harry Potter book series will be "scar".

Ten points to the person who comes up with the best idea on the last paragraph of the book! (must have the "scar" as the last word). Since I choose the 10 point winner, I do grade on spelling and punctuation.

Neville Longbottom seems like he should have been sorted into Hufflepuff. Why do you think the Sorting Hat sorted Neville into Gryffindor instead?

I purchased this book at a yard sale and have searched at every search engine I know of without success. The book is called Bolmar's Levizac's French Grammar. It's dated 1844. ANY information is appreciated.

i think she might kill Harry's character for one reason:
to not give other writers the chance to continue the book when she dies.

I love reading historical romance books, but only ones about Native Americans or cowboys. I read alot of Cassie Edwards and Madelaine Baker and some Lorraine Heath. Does anyone know any other good books or authors of this type?

I have just been tempted to respond to a question about "modern American literature." Most of the responses seemed to assume that the phrase included all of the 20th century, but isn't it stretching things a bit to refer to works written before World War I as "modern" anymore.

Some of my colleagues used to distinguished between "modern literature" and "contemporary literature," using the first phrase roughly for pre-WWII and the latter for post-WWII. Both now seem to be somewhat anachronistic uses of "modern" and "contemporary." Earlier periods in British and American literature are sometimes called, for example, the Renaissance, the Metaphysical Age, Neo-Classical Age, the Age of Romanticism, the Victorian Period, the Age of Realism. What term(s), like these, might be most appropriate for the past century?
