Crumbled

I love you too much to let you go,
But there is no way to stop the way of the world.
It will never be the same,
No matter how much we say we can move on.

You will stay in my memory and in my heart,
Burned there with my tears and sorrow.
My life has gone from great to depressing,
My world crumpled into ruin by your leaving.

You were my friend, my confidant,
I imagined all but you leaving and never coming back.
I loved you and took it for granted,
Now every word and encounter is precious.

The clock ticks until we say good-bye,
And I cry at the thought.
Of all our lives crumpled,
We were the world to each other.

The dreaded time will come,
When all our horrors come true.
Our friendship forever is tested,
Our hearts, souls, and lives are crumbled.

We will no longer see each other all the time,
Can no longer just fool around.
How will I know if you get into that school,
Or make that team?

This one event has brought far too many tears,
The crumbling is too much.
I must try to be strong, for you, for me,
As all our lives are torn apart from one another.

I'm looking for an elegant-sounding name for a female character. I have some ideas already, but I am wondering if anyone else can think of better. First Name, Middle Name, and Surname (Last Name). Thanks if you choose to participate. Even if I don't use the name, the best one will be voted best answer.

Personally, I've got such a thing for Severus Snape (especially as he's played by *Alan Rickman*) - but surely Sirius's surliness and Lucius's slippery, sexy evil-ness all have there own appeal??

Whether it is a secondary character or main character, how do you write their mind set or display them to show their feelings in ways different from guys. How are they different? How do you know when you developed a female mindset for a character different from a guy's? I could base it off of someone I know, but the character would be shallow with many contradictions because I am not deep enough into the mind of that person I base it on. The character would seem shallow if I don't write the girl with a mindset and personality designed for her. So basically how do you write a female character?

In the story, Diana Moon-Glampers shoots Harrison and the ballerina with a 10-gauge and they die almost instantly. However, considering Harrison's immense strength, a 10-gauge may very well not have killed Harrison. Did Vonnegut have a reason for choosing the 10-gauge over the 12-gauge? Also, why a double barrel? Thank you in advance.

I think reading is a wonderful thing to escape from reality into a false but reassuring world. (depends what book you are reading!)Some books can be so inspiring that they can change you life.
Do you enjoy reading? Why?
Or don't you? Why?

I don't know how it actually reads but here is the gist of it....there is a man with his wife in a car accident as she lay dying and he is describing his feelings of love and loss for her, i think she is trying to comfort him while he is thinking this or the other way around. i think its the most romantic passage i have every read, i think it was about a page long. they have changed the titles of some of his books and i don't know which one it was so if anyone knows please post it.

I have a large collection of Paperback novels that i need to get rid of. What Can I do with them. I do not wish to sell them individually on Ebay or Amazon, I just want to take them somewhere to get rid of. I cannot bring myself to throw them away.
