My middle-school age son wants to use a hammer and anvil to shape some metal. I'm looking for ideas on how he start learning this art. We're both novices in this field. Any ideas, suggestions, links, references, etc. would be most beneficial. (His main ideas are to craft some spear heads, swords, other medieval weaponry - yes, I'll keep a close eye on him.)

I wanted to see what the interior looked like, what some of the offices looked like, etc. Because of 9/11 I just imagine the inside of the WTC to be so dark and creepy.. but I know it wouldn't have been because of all those windows.
