I'm thinking about reading some of William Shakespeare's writings. From your experience, what have Shakespeare given you?

Many people tell me that there are 'many' underlining points behind his words, what are your thoughts. By reading Shakespeare, what will I get from it?

I'm very interested to know what people think about theatre websites that offer monologues. I'm starting one myself and I'm trying to figure out what kind of information is out there about theatre, auditions, monologue selection, etc. so I can make my site the best it can be. Thanks so much!

There is a guy in my language corse class and cant stop staring at me. Yes Im new in the class, but this is not the "who you?" stare. I think he is really nice and friendly (ya I like him, but I dont show it, I treat him like the rest of the peeps). When we all would go to a resturant, he would talk to his friends but give me quick looks. He would do like dum things but when I arrive he would go all soft and peacefull! His friend came and sat next to me on the train and asked if I like him, I asked why, but he sead in a speed that he doesnt know if the guy is into me (and I didnt even ask anything.) Is this guy into me or is he just weird?

This is not a question. I just wanted to say that I used to not believe in all of Sylvia's work. I then started to see spirits-no I don't have any mental illnesses! I tryed her mediation exercises in one of her early books. At first I just felt a calm about me. I didn't see anything. As soon as I stopped trying to see-It all came flooding into me. I can now see more clear then ever. If you look at the hate sites on Sylvia- they all have her words there, after it they twist her words or add more to it to make it out to be something else. That's not fair. She might not always finish her statements when cut off by non believers but if you are able to watch her face you can clearly see. I just saw a website talking about the miners in West Virginia. It said Sylvia said they all were alive. She never said it. She started to say yea they all-and then she was cut off by the interviewer. The website then went on to add to her words while twisting it all. All I have to say is Karma

Which would you pick? If someone told you they had the truth about something (personal or something about life/the world) but knowing it would make you very unhappy, would you say 'Yes, tell me, it's better to know' OR 'I'm happy with my life the way it is, if it'll make me sad why would I want to know!' There is a saying:'You're better off not knowing'. Is there truth in this?
