I had some preterm labor at the end of October but have not had any problems since. Today the doctor said it was up to me if I wanted to travel but to know that if my water were to break they would tell me to get to the nearest hospital. I don't want to deliver 75 miles from home. We would only go to the relatives house in the afternoon on Christmas Day and then come home in the late morning the following day. Do you think I am crazy? I feel completely fine.

ok here the thing...I met this girl named kelsie and I we became friends ... we started talking like all the time and I really started to like her ... so what happened is some guy asked her out and she said yes .. Sucks... so 2 months go by and they brake up. Now we really start talking and I star likening her even more now and she’s told me she likes me a lot now too. so what happens is I start talking to one of my friends Geoff, and I told Geoff I like her like couple weeks ago, so I’m talking to him and he tells me that he really like her to and I just wanted to see if its ok with you if I ask her out. So right now i'm like wtf. and for some reason I said yaw go ahead and stuff so he asked her and she messages me and is like did you know about this ... and i’m like ya and she’s like wow I never knew he like me .... That was that last thing I heired from her because she goes to sleep. I really think I never should have said yes to my friend. Was that stupid?

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all.
One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.
As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated, of all things, a condom!
When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.
The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and He could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" pointing to the bowl.
"Oh, yes," she replied, "Isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground.

I just got done reading a fascinating email. Its called, "If you can read this, I can prove God exists." The points that the guy brings up seem valid. Essentially the email says that even if matter and galaxies were formed from unintelligent design, it is impossible for languages (such as DNA) to emerge unless there is some kind of "mind" that designs it. This does make sense in my opinion, seeing as how complex of a language DNA is.

To all IT students,

Do you like to study in an IT institute that uses freeware for its teaching purposes? It does not license propriety software and it uses only freeware and it makes its students use the freeware for their assignments.

For example, the school will not use Windows in its system but only Linux or will not use IE but Mozilla or it will not use MS Word but Openoffice.

Would you like to study under such conditions?

I often hear fundamentalists say Jesus is the only way into Heaven and that by Jesus only they can be saved, etc...

But how do you know it's Jesus?
You've never met him. You read an account of him in a Book. But even if that book is the perfect word of God, it can't have captured his whole person (a biography is not a full person), nor can it ever be grasped in its entirety. When you do your prayers to Jesus, how do you know the Jesus you have in mind is really Jesus? If Jesus is more than just a word, surely you would need an understanding of who that person is. How do you know?

The other night I was feeling down about some things and my boyfriend tried to cheer me up by telling me how much it hurt him to see me upset. He said how he wanted to be there for me in every way possible and make me happy. Then he said that being with me made him feel like a better person. But, but yet he's amazing already. I don't understand why just being together makes him feel that way. Sometimes when I compare myself to him, I just feel inadequate. Anyways, it was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. If you think that you can explain where he might be coming from, I'd really appreciate it ; ) ...maybe I'm just dense.

I live in Arizona. Our landlord dissolved our lease in Sept allowing us to live here free as the home was preforclosure. If it had foreclosed we would have had 30 days from sale to move. Now buyer's realtor brutally tells me we have no rights we need to get out tomorrow, with no notice! We don't have the finances or resources to move or any place to go. We weren't expecting to have to vacate until the 1st of February as the last we heard the house was in forclosure. Do we have any rights?

hi,
i was seeing a boy for about 4 months, he wos my best friend for 2 years before this and we have gone out together in the past. we broke up because he wasnt very nice to me on the last night we were together. we started seeing eachother again for 2 weeks after we broke up and it was like we were together again, then he turned 18 and started not talking to me much or seeing me, this was about a week ago. the other night i called him and asked if he minded me seeing his mates as friends on saturday night and he got really angry at me told me he didnt like me anymore. yesterday i sent him a msg saying hes lost me and he will have no one to talk to now then he replied saying he will he has a new girl. then this morning he msgd me saying he doesnt have a new girl. why did he say he did in the first place? and what do you think is going on here? does he like me or is he over me? thank you

Should a modern cult of the Goddess Athena appear, would it be popular?

Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom, protector of Mankind and Civilisation. She was female, but also a warrior. She defended the weak, rewared righteousness and heroic endeavour. But she would forgive her enemies and those who commited wrongings. She was meant to be a guide and a protector to humanity, which she believed was meant to elevate itself to the level of gods.

She valued knowledge, compassion, courage and strength.

I think she could become very popular again to occidental people, given a good Cult leader. She offers a bit of fantasy (like all greek myths), but good, simple-based values.

In fact, she is present in some recent pagan traditions. She can be seen on some South American coins, on the Seal of California and the symbol of the US Women's Army Corp and many other places and items.
