At 44, I just got my first Rx glasses (polycarbonate rimless), for single vision distance (and -1.75 astigmatism in OD). The prescription seems right on, and I can see everything past 5 feet with incredible clarity (I can't believe how near sighted I was!)

I have gotten more comfortable with the peripheral distortion due to my myopia prescription, but I still often feel the glasses distort how I see things ever so slightly. Some things seem smaller or thinner (though I do see them with AWESOME clarity). And I can at times feel almost a bit of a fish-eye effect. Sometimes too depth perception seems a bit off...?

I have been told this is normal, and that I am simply at the point of just beginning to learn to adapt to looking at the world through artificial lenses, and that I need to be patient for the short learning curve...?

I'm trying to understand this case better, but I'm very confused as to WHO are involved in the case (judge, two opposing sides) what exactly happened and cause the whole case to start and end, and why did it end the way it did. Also I need to understand it timewise, because when the case started Jane Roe was pregnant by the man who raped her, and when it ended, she already gave birth to the child and gave it up for adoption. So how exactly did it happen?
Please give me enough information that I could use in a small play of the case in class with my teammates. Thank you.

OK, I'm 13 years old, and a girl.

My mom told me soon that the doctors will make me take off my clothes infront of him! I have a phobia of taking my clothes off infront of people. (I'm serious. I freak out and I probably am very dangerous if someone tries to take my clothes off)
WHAT AGE DO THEY MAKE YOU DO THIS? WHY DO THEY MAKE YOU DO THIS? (take off clothes)

In many official government documents, the word God is used many many times. God is on our money, on the seal, used in Court Rooms, etc., etc. But Jesus or Christ is not named officially anywhere in the Constitution, Declaration of Independance or in any official government document. Although Jesus is mentioned in numerous speeches by some of our leaders, these are not official documents. Many of our founding fathers were Masons. George Washington even took his oath on a St James Bible from the New York Masonic Lodge. With the rule that a Mason must believe in the God of Abraham, which would include three great faiths, is this the God that our founding fathers were refering to? How can Christians claim that this country was founded on their values and their values alone? Can't other people who also believe in the God of Abraham claim any responsibility for the founding of this nation?

my bf broken up with his ex and his brother didnt know that so his brother bought aticket for that ex to come to spend this xmas with my bf's family. my bf showed me her meassage begging him to let her come for the last time and the fact that she is already here with his family. his parents like that girl better than me. my bf asked me if i could be patient for the last time because she is already here and he doesnt want to break the harmony in his family during this xmas. he told me that everything will be the end after these two weeks.he loves his parents and dont want to make them sadduring this holiday. should i give him another try? should i wait for him 2 weeks and see what happens next? should i be patient for the last time? please help me, i am very confused and have no idea what i should do. half of me tells me that i should give him 2 weeks but the other half cant put up with the idea that his soon-to-be ex is spending time with him and his family.

Like, you are just asking a question and the way the person responds is like they are trying to belittle you. I know some people are just like that, but why? I don't think any of the questions I have asked have ever been stupid. I am a stay at home Mom. The only adult contact I have in a day is with my Husband whom I see for an hour before he goes to work and then If I stay up past midnight, I can hang out with him for an hour or two. This is my release and the way that I get other adult contact. My husband isn't interested in talking about the stuff I ask on her. We get such limited time together

my parents have been divorced for about 15 years and it has not affected me until now, i lived with my mom until i was about 15 and she kicked me out. i have not spoken to her since, i am not 17 and realize how much i need and miss her. My Dad does what he can to help me but there is only so much he can do and he cannot fill the void of a mother. i just really need my mom and miss her so much, have any advice?

I bought a ton of dry milk and stored it in glass containers - problem is.. I threw out the instruction labels, lol. I've looked all over the internet and all it says is how dry milk is made in the factories and where it's from. How many cups of dry milk & water makes a gallon, a quart, a whatever?
