Purposing a "Help A soldier" fundraiser to Student Counsel,,Ideas please?

I have always wanted to help our troops over in Iraq some how, but never really knew how. Then it came to me, "lets send them some goodies or thing that they need or want. Then the next thihg that came to my mind was how could i pay for all of this. Then it hit me, im in The student counsel at my elementry school and could purpose a fundraiser to raise money for this cause . I need your help with ideas of what the soldiers might need, want, and DESERVE . Also ideas that might make students want to help. Even if you do not support the war you can still support our troops in need.So please drop me some ideas.

Chicago White Sox fans what do you think about this?

Steve Stone is making his return to broadcasting, and this time he is doing his comeback with the Chicago White Sox. But this time he be at US Cellular Field in the radio booth, so he will not be making any homecomings to Wrigley Field. Instead he is going to do 13 home games in 2008, which is supposed to be all Friday home games in 2008. How much protein do i need?

I just dont get it...?

So yes this is about Jamie Lynn Spears. But the way the media is handleing the whole "16 year old is pregnant story", is just raising so many questions in my mind.

#1. Are we not aware that people this age get pregnant all the time. No I'm not saying its the best idea, but they act like its never happened.
#2. Why would they cancel Zoey 101? Last I checked shes not the only person on that show.
#3. We have no right to blame her parents. Yes she is only 16. But last I checked any idiot knows that if you have sex. No matter if its protected or not, theres always the chance of getting pregnant.

All these parents think that the little girl on Zoey 101, is the same girl in real life. Its sickening. Yes some young girls may look up to her. But thats because they can not seprate reality from fiction. And its sad that parents feel its ok for children to look up to kids on TV, and not those they really know and elders in there life.

They just need to leave her alone and let her be. The show is ending in a month, its no one but her and her boyfriends fault, and yes in todays society 16 years olds do get pregnant.

People are not looking at what really matters. What was a 16 year old doing living with her 19 year old boyfriend, and last I checked, by law, thats called rape.

All I keep hearing on tv is "who is to blame!?" "did her parents fail!?".

No one cares that she didnt kill her child. And that the result of this "mistake" is going to be a beautiful (hopefully healthy), precious new life.

And just because her sister is a screw up, doesnt mean that she is going to be as well.

If we have a fair tax instead of the IRS who is going to collect, regulate, distribute, and enforce it?

There will be an IRS, but it will not be as big as they are now. When they say they want to "get rid of the IRS" it is more of a metaphor. They want to eliminate the federal income tax. We'd still have to pay Social Security and Medicare, so the IRS would still be there to regulate the income.

Wake up people Ron Paul wants to double taxyou by decreasing not aliminating the IRS as promised.

We will be paying for social security, medicare, and have a sale tax added on that will more than make up for the budget. ISN'T THAT A GREAT PLAN? This guy is slicker than Willie and I would beg voters to dig deeper and ask more questions to this candidate. I know I won't vote for him.
