There is this girl that I talk to from time to time at school, but I want to get her e-mail address so I can talk to her more often that way. The only problem is I'm not very close to her and I'm not sure how to go about asking her. I probably won't see her for about 2 weeks because I went on Christmas break today, but how can I bring up the subject casually when I don't talk to her often? If it helps, I'm in 8th grade.

I recently found out my girlfriend is a crystal meth addict. So I called her father as I figured the family needed to know that she is destroying herself.

He didn't believe me, and accused me of making it up, being a druggie myself and told me if I called him again he would call the police on me for harrassment.

Is there anything left for me to do?

So there is this couple that I interact with weekly. At first, I only knew the husband. Later on, the wife started attending the meetings too. I use to always sit next to the husband, but if I come to the meetings late, I usually sit else where. (not on purpose, I just usally sit at the spot that is the closest and the most convenient. Anyhow he has made little snide comments about how I don't sit next to him (which really just annoyed me, and made me really go out of my way to avoid him- who does he think he is talking to me like that?), and now the wife is always giving me the eye or looking me over when I talk to her husband. The whole reason that I stay away from married men in the first place is b/c I don't want drama, or their wives to be jealous. So, what is their deal. I left the guy alone and now he is like acting all childlike, and she is always watching me when I talk to him. did I do anything wrong? Why does he care where I sit anyway?

I pulled up to a red light where there was NOT a "no turn on red" sign. I made a complete stop, looked at the cars across from me (no one was going) l looked left at the cars coming from that direction (no one was there) so after stopping for a couple seconds and looking, I turned right. A police officer pulled me over and gave me a ticket for "running a red light" because he said that the people across the way from me had a green arrow.

If no one was going, how am I responsible for knowing that? Also, how can you give a person a ticket for running a red if they very clearly made a complete stop and then just turned right?

I want to fight this ticket, I just wanted to see if anyone knew what argument the cop might have against me in this.

My muslim friend and I [atheist] were approuched by a local church group.
they said we are "sinners" by not accepting jesus, and we should convert.
well, I told them that my friend here is the latest edition, so why not convert to islam then?
they got all mad at us saying "how dare you insult my religon"

can't most christians just get over the fact that not everyone is christian?

Okay I am a big animal lover. Their is an animal shelter close to my house. That needs blankets for dogs. ok, i'v been able to do this for ages

on my right wrist, i extent my thumb and rotate my wrist in a counter-clockwise direction and it makes a cracking sound. not like knuckle cracking, but more like a grinding popping sound. Also, its not limited to just one crack, i can go for atleast 6 rotations before it becomes painful.

I'm just curious as to what this is, what could cause this, is it serrious, and should i get it checked out.

(my friend calls it a 'clicker' and she has it too ((same wrist, same prosedure to make it pop)))

Parents should teach their children their ideas of right and wrong and give children some sort of moral foundation. Of course, as children become teenagers and adults we begin to learn that mother and father do not always know best. Our parents like everyone else are fallible.

Many claim that the behavior of a teenager or even an adult is a reflection of what kind of moral foundation the parents gave, but is this true? I'd be a different person if I took everything my parents said as truth.
