I do it at least once daily. I find that it helps me wake up in the morning plus it is normally up at that time. My girlfriend thinks I am crazy for doing it up to two times a day. What is normal? I personally think I am totally normal.

My daughter is going through a hard time recently - she found out her boyfriend of 2 years and Father to her baby was cheating on her with 3 different women!

At first she decided to get him out of her life and she seemed ok...then he did an emotional blackmail suicide attempt and it looks like she has taken him back

Thing is I recently met a really nice guy after being single for a while ( and picky! lol )

But instead of being happy for me my daughter has been ringing me every day and having a go at me - calling my new boyfriend names and saying that I have ruined Christmas!!!

I am due to go to hers for the Christmas period but she now says she doesn't want me too......and the way she has been having a go at me lately I'm not sure if it will be a good time either!!!

I want to show her that I am there for her but I have my own life too...and that not all men are b*stards!.....but it does not seem to be working

I don't want to be her emotional punchbag either.. it hurts

A woman from the deepest, most southern part of Alabama goes into the local newspaper office to see that the obituary for her recently deceased husband is written. The obit editor informs her that the fee for the obituary is 50 cents a word.
She pauses, reflects and then says, "Well, then, let it read, 'Billy Bob died'."

Amused at the woman's thrift, the editor says, "Sorry ma'am, there is a 7 word minimum on all obituaries."

Only a little flustered, she thinks things over and in a few seconds says, "In that case, let it read, 'Billy Bob died - 1983 Pick-up for sale.'"

i am an atheist, recently my Christian cousin got really depressed because she doens't have much social skills and lost her job due to her constant nervousness. I tried to comfort her and taking her out for coffee and dinner, when i asked her why she never takes me to her home (shared with other christian people), she told me it was because I am 'dirty' in her eyes, i live with my boyfriend of 3 years without marriage. how do i deal with this kind of comments? i still love her very much but i felt hurt.

My mother remarried a man who at the time of their courtship, was working full time & contributing 50/50 to the bills.

She worked as well full time.

They have no kids & no mutual financial accounts/purchases.

I think it's fraud because he finished his degree 2 months after they married, and has NEVER looked for a job to use it for OVER A YEAR.
He's not even a good stay at home house husband!
MOM has to do ALL the cleaning & cooking, etc...Totally NOT FAIR!

She's building resentment day by day, and I keep warning him to shape up, but apparently it's not changing his freeloading ways.

Stepdad just moans about how "There are no jobs, I can't use my degree, All I do is get picked on, etc" Bla Bla Bla!

BTW this is in FL.... What should she do?
PS- He would never consider marriage therapy.

My wife told me she would "make herself available to me" everyday single day if I stopped smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. She said the deal is off the second I smoke or take a drink, do you think this is fair? What do you think of this? Would you do it? Could you do it?

FYI: part of new years resolution is to get healthier and she knows this will highly motivate me!

Every so often I ask my boyfriend if we can just stay home that night and he always promises me we can. Then he decides he had a bad day and wants go out for a drink. Or he worked at least 2 hours of over time that day so he announces we're going out to dinner. Because of his work schedule he's usually home by 2 or 3 in the afternoon so every time I mention I'm going to do laundry he says not to bother, promises to do it when he gets home the next day, and then ends up either taking a nap or messing around on the computer and loosing track of time. There's other house stuff he always promises he's wants to get done and I always end up doing it myself. Which is if, I just wish he'd stop promising things he has no intention of making an effort to follow through on.

It would be one thing if this stuff only happened every so often, but it's constant. It isn't even a more often than not thing. It's always. As in every time. It's aggravating. Am I over reacting to this?

Sitting here at the computer, something catches my attention and I look out the window to see a bird on the BBQ. Grabbed a quick shot. Unfortunately, when I moved the blinds the bird flew off.

Hey, at least I had a camera to snap what I did. I always have a camera with me. On my hip...somewhere. How about you?

What kind of bird is this?

Link explains situation. After all that and really trying to just be over it i cant seem to stop thinking about it. Is it normal to still want to run back and be with her even after what she did. I know i should just be over it because its completly wrong what she did to me and i understand that, it really hurt.. its just i still dont understand why she would do that to me and i feel maybe, just maybe she will change and not hurt me again. despite that at the same time i feel if she really loved me she wouldnt have done that to me.. especially after the past few years we have been together we havnt had many problems. I miss her but think maybe its just going to take time and i will realize eventually that it is not in my best interest to be with her..I guess my question is, is it normal to want to run back and try again?
