I'm a Catholic and my hubbie is non religious. We married 26yrs ago in a registar office. I've suffered physical and mental abuse within the marriage and be in Women's Aid 4 times. Do you think i'm selfish looking for love or do i put up with abuse. Would God, give me happiness or judge me. I want 2008 to be a happy life for me and their is someone waiting for me to give me, what i want but i'm in a mess, as i'm married. What do i do?

She came over to our apartment to visit him while I was out for the day and later the next day he mentioned that she had watered my ficus because it was dry. I told him that I had rescued it from my mother who was overwatering it and that it has been doing just fine on my watering schedule for over a year. It's leaves fall off and the soil gets a mold on it if it gets too much water. He said that she use to have ficuses and knows what she is doing, but that was when she lived in the desert and she has now moved to a much different climate and has killed a few of her own plants I might add.
I don't mean to sound like a psycho plant owner or someone who wants to create drama but she is (in my opinion) very overbearing and tries to take over in my house. When she first moved here she turned up the chill in my fridge and everything froze. Our food hadn't been spoiling, she just always thinks she knows better than me. I need feedback, good or bad. Advice, you can even insult me just say it

So all you people who are used to being in and around snow, what sites would you recommend for buying winter clothes? I'm in southern california where it RARELY gets cold and I plan to go somewhere on the east coast soon. I don't know how to dress for the weather. Please help me! I just googled what snow boots look like and they look horrific! Point me in the right direction, I don't want to freeze or look fashionably clueless!

Hi all. I have a 1991 tempo that was staring just fine. One day (the other day) i went to start it and it does nothing. The little dummy lights come on but when i turn key nothing. No click. No rev. no sound nothing. Checked battery connection and lights and all work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh ever since i got the car the check engine light was on...and still is. DOnt know why and dont know if that has anything to do with not starting or not. Also, car was overheating and i was waiting to fix this problem til it was warmer out. Not a head gasket...dont think cause i did the milky oil check thing...and it looked ok.

I have been housing a family of 4 for the last 4 years. I was okay at the beginning but now I want my space. Now, they have invited a lady with a child to move in as well. They have been like a family and I have been extremely patient. They began building a house which they have mentioned it is ready for them to move in. Their problem now is that they opened a business and they are again struggling financially. They were discussing renting their new home to help themselves financially. I am about to explode.
