Anyone who knows history well...

I've heard once before that history does not show evidence that hebrew slaves built pyramids as the old testament in the bible would suggest. I can't find much on this when I looked up in google, just more biblical references... however, I am not Christian, I am just curious.

Did it happen?

The craters of the moon, solid planets and solar system satellites, are perfectly circular indicating that they are the result of head on (perpendicular) impacts with wandering asteroids. Since the gravitational force of those bodies is not infinite, one should expect that tangential encounters are also possible, the kind that would merely glance at the surface and leave in its wake elongated trails on it. Yet it seems that there are no traces of such slanted contacts. Why?

This is a doubt and question regarding legal matters. No legal advice is necessary. Just a clarification.. Yesterday the Mumbai court in INDIA gave 2 punishments to one person ( 1.Life imprisonment for murder and 2. Five years imprisonment for a grave offence) The court directed that the 2 punishments be implemented same time. My doubt is when he is undergoing life imprisonment, how the 5 years imprisonment can be implemented? When it can not be implemented what is the rationale in awarding a second punishment. Any legal experts are welcome to clarify this doubt. Thank you.

Eternity is everlasting and mans life only a micro second in time within the span of eternity. Why would God create man, allow for the brief moment of life, expecting godliness from his sinful nature and finally provide hell for his eternal suffering? It is neither reasonable nor as religion has you to believe, God is a loving god. Because it also asks that you fear him.

When it comes to really important issues, there is no difference whatsoever between them. For example, in the latest bill to spend billions upon billions of US dollars on the war in Iraq--a war that has been a complete and utter failure from the get go--the Democrats voted the same as the Republicans. And the main reason, of course, is that they are all told what to do by the big military money interests, plus they get a few personal threats from the FBI or CIA to keep 'em in line, like good little puppets. It's amazing that most Americans haven't caught on to the way the game works. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee may spell their names different, but you can't tell one from the other.

I'm watching it now and I think it's REALLY offensive and presumptuous. The whole message of the movie is basically saying that good looking people are ugly on the inside and vice versa; that you can have looks or a heart but never both.

What about all the people who happen to have both? Or neither? Look at people like Angelina Jollie (beautiful inside and out), and people like Osama Bin Laden (ugly in both ways). I thought the whole story was just really dumb. Plus, that "tail" guy is disgusting.

Anyone else think this?

I work in local government, and since being employed my duties have changed significantly and are of a higher level and I feel that I am justified in asking to have my job re-graded from level 2 to 3.

There is currently a hiring freeze due to budget cuts throughout the department, but would this be an appropriate reason for my employers to refuse my re-grading request?

I have also been asked to undertake a major project that is currently done by a higher graded individual. Should I wait until I am doing the work, to ask for a re-grading, or ask prior to starting the work?

Does anyone have any relevant experience to share that can assist me?

What is the chances of a married woman who is cheating on her husband but, has no plans to divorce him anytime soon not be having sex with her husband. Her lover claims that she is only having sex with him because that is what she has told him. It's hard for me to believe that if she is not sexually active with her husband than why would she continue to be with him-why not divorce him and move on with her lover? There are no children involved nor does her husband have loads of money-they are not poor by any means but, both hold jobs.

Hello
I am 19 years old and i think i need a breast reduction. I am pretty slender (5'7'' and 125 lbs) and am currently naturally loosing some weight. I also have this huge problem ( no pun intended) My boobs are way to big for my body. I would be a 32 D if such a size existed, which it doesn't which makes it impossible to find a bra that fits my back and cup size. I also am an extremely active person in which case large breasts are not helpful with. All sports bras slip right up my back and up and over my boobs so they dont even work at all. I also notice that the do not seem as perky as they should be at my age. I am contemplating surgery and dont know if its silly to think of it. Is it irrational to want to augment my breasts. I know most augmentations are for women with DD-F cupbrasts but for my small body thats what i feel like i have! I also often have neck and back pain. With a flat chest i would be boyishly shaped and not very muscular. This is a huge problem for me..HELP!

My neighbor told me the other day that she doesn't give her kids christmas presents on Christmas, She does it days even a week early. I have never heard of parents doing that. Of course for other types of holidays But Christmas? I think if you are trying to teach your child about tradition, Wouldn't doing it early defeat the purpose? I don't know it just seems weird to me.
