this is another two part question, both are realative to the topic, but are seperate questions.

my first one is, should men have a say in abortion? i'm figuring most of you will say no, but i'm interested to see if someone thinks men should have some part of this process/decision.

my second part is, would you find it reasonable for a legal agreement on responsiblity? women have the right to alleviate any responsibility for taking care of a child by getting an abortion(in general). a guy has no voice in the matter. this hurts men in two ways. one, is if the guy wants and is willing to take care of the child on his own. maybe rare, but it happens. but number two is what really bothers me. if a women chooses to keep the baby, despite the fact that he doesn't want the child, he is forced to take responsiblity for it. this goes back to the question, should there be a contract, for a guy to "abort" his rights as a father. this means no visitation, no child support, nothing.

I have wanted to be a Family and Marriage therapist for the past 5 years. 6 months ago I accepted Christ and now I want to do all the things God want me to do also I’ve been praying to serve Him and please Him. Now the more i went to my psychology classes, i realized that there is no thought of God when people try to solve world's problems. Then that’s when God told me that I will not be able to help families and couples with psychology. So then I decided that once i finish school, i will go to a Christian grad school so I can learn to solve problems God's way. After that i just prayed that He will work it out for me and I stopped worrying about it. I found peace and started to speak God's word to my room mates and class mate. Now it is the end of the school semester and last night, God reminded me that even though what i am doing is nice, it is not what he wants me to do. I truly believe that he wants me to leave school after that i don't know. This is a hard choice cuz of my mom.

This guy asked me to homecoming this year, and he's great, funny, sweet, etc. but I'm not interested!!

He made a huge deal about homecoming too.. at one of our all highschool assemblies, he got up there and serenaded to me on the piano and then pulled out a bunch of roses and asked me in front of everyone!!!!

But i felt SO bad because I couldnt make it to the dance!!!

Anyways. It's still been really awkward between us because I can tell he still likes me. But I wouldnt mind if he was one of the more outgoing and easy to talk to kind, but he's really shy, and it's just always always awkward.

What's a good way to show that I'm not interested? Because I dont want to be rude to him or anything by cutting him off harshly.. But I dont want to lead him on or anything, just in case he has plans for asking me to something else.
Plus, our highschool has like 300 kids, so everyone knows everyone else, and I dont want to seem like a ***** to someone so sweet!

I just realized that they dont show that anymore like they used to back in Vietnam and other wars. Anyone know why?

Just wondering. Seems like the people who made such a great sacrifice for their country should at least arrive home in plain day light for all americans to see them and honor them.

I'm Chinese-Filipino, my husband is Lebanese and we have one child. We might qualify for the Quebec program and he wants Montreal as he's French-educated&grew up partly in Paris. I also speak French and with some practice, could probably handle Montreal. But we're not sure if employment opps are abundant in Montreal..i'd still prefer work in an english environment...or if it's better to undergo the longer migration process so we can migrate to vancouver/toronto, etc. Or is Oz much better over-all?
