But anywho, to get some hockey talk out of this: If you could live the life of any hockey player, past or present, who would it be?

Do you thank them? If not, do they get mad? Then, what do you say? Also, do you tell acquaintances to abandon the practice with you? Do they get offended? I refuse to thank people for something I didn't ask for and don't particularly like.

ESPN.com just reported that the RED SOX have upped the offer to include Jacoby Ellsbury in the trade for Johan Santana but will remove Jon Lester from the deal : http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3138088

Earlier the same website said that the TWINS were not "impressed" with the Yankees offer including Hughes and if the RED SOX upped their offer it would most likely be a deal breaker in the SOX favor.
What does everyone think about it. I'd personally rather they include Buchholtz in the deal instead because I think that Ellsbury is the spark this team needed for the playoffs and willl help take them to another WS title in '08'.

I have been playing my brothers electric guitar for about a year now, but I really want an acoustic guitar because I like "acousticifying" my favorite rock songs. I have no idea how to buy an acoustic guitar, what some good brands are, or even if I should get a acoustic or an acoustic/electric guitar! The highest price my parents are willing to pay is probably around $300. I am probably going to get a used one because you can get a lot nicer used guitar for $300 than you can get a new one.

So any help with buying an acoustic guitar will be appreciated!
