Hey fellows, this is a serious question. George McPhee has ruined the Washington Capitals for me. Today's trade of Sutherby further proved the team is not done rebuilding, which makes Ted Leonsis a liar. So, I'm in the market for a new NHL Team to support. I live in Northern VA, but everyone else here likes another team anyway. So - Knowing that I hate and can never support a Caps rival (Divisional or Traditional), and I hate the Senators and all the teams from New York, which hockey team should I support, and why? Very serious question by the way. It does hurt to ask. Thanks for your serious answers~

I am 25 years old and have been taking lessons at a local Arthur Murray Studio for over a year now. I have a background in both music and tae kwon do, but I feel this is where my true talent lies. many people have told me that I am a really quick-learner, great leader, good dancer and have even been asked to participate in a salsa routine. I feel great about my dancing now after one year of training and I feel that I have been forged for this "sport/art" through my music and tae kwon do training and have thus been considering professional ballroom competition.

My questions are what is professional dancing, what are the requirements to become a professional vs. amateur, what are the major competitions, what are the dance styles in competition... etc... where should I start???

Whatever information anyone has about the world of professional dancing, be it from personal experience or literature, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Around where I live there was a massive rat rescue and now they all need homes. I would love to help, but I am wary because my cat loves to kill the mice we have living around the house? Is there anyway to "break" her of this habbit or at least discourage this? I have always wanted a rat, but like I said before I never though it would work out. Any suggestions?

I've just finished reading Waleed Aly's People Like Us which is about how a deadly combination of arrogance and ignorance by both Christians and Muslims is fuelling fanaticism. People who claim there are no Muslim "moderate" critics should read this! He also criticizes some "liberals" and discusses how the concept of jihad has been distorted.

I can't f'in do this. My computer science program is mind boggling. The "supposedly" simple things in this course are so freakin hard for me to do that, im almost ready to give up. Im like doing the worst in my class, and i even have a father who can help with this programming stuff yet i still seem to be bewildered by it all. Im so dumb, everyone treats me as though im not to be taken seriously. And frequently i feel as though people are secrectly laughing behind my back as though "ha look that moron trying to solve a logic problem, his reaction should be entertaining once he gets his failing mark.". pfft im pissed off, sorry that this didnt turn out to be a question. I just need some advice.

I currently have a 20g tank that's been set up for about 2 weeks, give or take. I've got 3 danios and 5 white clouds. My ammonia hasn't spiked yet, and I've got several other fish in a temp. 10g holding tank that I want to add to the 20g as soon as I can (well, as fast as is healthy for the biofilter).

If I were to take out the danios and white clouds and put them in temp. holding tanks as well, and then add ammonia to my 20g and do a fishless cycle, would that help the cycle go faster?

As I'm not an avid fan of the show and don't always catch it on TV, I don't remember their names and don't feel like looking them up, but my point is, 9 times out of 10, I find the chicks on Mythbusters really annoying.

Personally, I think they're little more than eye candy to lure over some of the male viewers from Spike TV.
