We are thinking of getting a short-haired Chihuahua puppy soon!! I can't wait! Only, we can't decide on whether to get a male or female Chihuahua.

For Female
1. Tend to be more loyal to their family and not to strangers
2. A bit smaller and lighter
3. There are more female dog clothes and stuff on the market than boy clothes (although, we do not plan to dress our dog up, but we're getting a short-haired chihuahua, and they are sensitive to cold weather)

For Male
1. Cant become pregnant
2. Are loyal to their family and to strangers a taad bit more than the female
3. Bigger in height (you may wonder why this is an advantage, but with Chihuahuas they are already very small and to get a female, it will be even smaller!!! lol)

people say that males are more agressive in most dog breeds, but in chihuahuas they say that males are calmer. please help me decide!!!

He looks kinda like a nudibranch but has a sort of hard plate on his back, it probably taks up about 1/3rd of his body. It is definately not a snail! Hes kinda grey on the body and the shell/ plate bit is sorta purpley coloured, but I think he can change colour. Hes about 1" long.

I cant figure out how to put in a picture otherwise I would!

I have been hanging out with this girl for about 2.5 months now. We usually meet for lunch once a week (not a scheduled thing, just random times), and hang out once one on one during the week. We are both involved in a church, so we see each other more than that in a group setting. We usually talk, text, or email every day. Most of the time text or phone after 1030 at night. About a month into us hanging out, a conversation was steered in the way of relationships. Not necessarily by me or her, just mutually. I told her that I was starting to have interest in her, and she said she could see potential in a relationship, but didn’t want to rush into a relationship, as she had gotten out of a two year about 3 months earlier. I would say we hang out more now than we did then. We are not dating though. We talk about our families and our past quite a bit. We are both busy, and independent. Neither of us is clingy. The other day I told her that I was gonna get my hair cut, and she offered to do it. Yesterday, I went to her apartment and she cut it, and we hung out for a while after. I was doing some stuff on my laptop, and she said she had to get ready to go so she was gonna take a shower, but told me I didn’t need to leave. I am sure this is very hard to follow, but I am trying to keep it compact. She is 25 and a CPA, I am 21 and almost done with college. Does this sound like stuff that a normal woman would do if she just wanted to be friends? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I think it's possible that some people rely on faith and others rely on reason, and evidence... and it may be genetic. If that is true, then two atheists are more likely to raise an atheist child (genetically). And likewise, a Christian nation will produce religious children - generation after generation - because of genetics. Also, if survival in America depends in part on a person's religious (or non-religious) affiliation, then evolution would explain why 85-90% of our country believe in God.

There are the ailments directly blamed on smoking, but we should not forget that the weak smoker's body is more likely to catch almost any disease that is going around. And he is bad for the economy, since he is mentally less sound, less focused, less acceptable to other workers (nervous, stinky breath), and more likely to be absent form work.

We have known each other for 24yrs now, she knows my own relationship(of 24yrs) with her sister is deteriorating and 2 affairs her sister had while with me. I have been pure & truthful to my SIL and we have done a lot together. I have been there now and seen 3 long-term relationships end of hers. I can go on and on. We are very much alike in many ways and interests.

We also confide in each other, mostly me doing the talking. But she has come out and said I look good, and we would look fine as a couple and finally, she loves me.

Strange part is family peer pressure from others including our own children my son 14yrs and her daughter 18yrs. My own wife says, “its your second wife on the phone” the other SIL says “ oh we know you two are close”. The MIL says I do things other men didn't do with her. (flowers on mothers day when she was single, assisting her to move many time etc.

But now I honestly do love her.

Sooo, has anyone herd of a successful SIL or BIL relationship?

Help! I have an interview today and I'm not sure how to respond to this question. Let me explain...I'm trying to get on a local college and I've been working at a healthcare company for the past two years. My previous job was at a small private college and it was horrible. I was only there for five months because of the working conditions. I love working in an college enviroment but how I can justify me leaving this previous position without bashing the company?
