My fiance and I have been together for over 3 years. We have two daughters (2 and 7 months old) together. We've just gotten engaged about 3 weeks ago. Well I'm ready to set a date, have the wedding and get on with our married lives. Him on the other hand. Well that's a long story. He says he just wants the committment and is not ready to set a date and doesn't foresee a future date that he'll be ready. He got mad because I told my mom, my 3 sisters and his little cuzin. Everybody is extremely excited and happy for us and they want to know if we've set a date. I'm trying to be respectful of him and his feelings because I know that this is a huge step but at the same time I feel like he has a case of the "WHY BUY THE COW WHEN I'VE ALREADY HAD THE MILK" syndrome. And that he's using this engagement to say see I love you and I'll marry u eventually but just not anytime in the next couple of years. And I'm worth more than that. I'm ready to leave him, I didnt get a ring. So what u think?

My dad told me something the other night, which really upset me, and made me think. I'm 17. He told me that after i was born, my mother fell pregnant again, at her second scan, the baby wasn't moving, at the time i think my mother was 4-5 months along. The baby was covered in cancer, and had died. My mother had to have treatment for the cancer she had in her womb. I didnt ask anything else, i didnt go into detail, it upset me to much, that i could of had a little brother or sister. I already have two older brothers. It really got to me this news, my mother can't have children anymore either.
Im just wondering whether it is ok to be upset by this news? It's really got to me, how can i think of something else?

OK, I have no problem admitting that this is the best team I've ever seen, but do you see the way they just run up the score. Bill Belicheater likes to try and embaress weaker teams because he is still humiliated from getting caught spying. I mean why else do you go for it on 4 and 2 and 4 and 3 when u are up by 40 points already. What a Joke. And he leaves his star in there just to try and break records...how LAME!!! Big deal if he breaks Mannings record, he did it by being a cheap *** and running up the score well after the players have stop giving a hoot. Pathetic. i cant believe no one has taken a cheap shot at him yet and I will laugh when it happens. Also, in case any New England fans are reading this, you are pretty much the most classless fans I have ever seen, Football games are suppose to be fun and last night all the Pats fans were just so rude and arrogant and right in ur face. November is Missions Month in many evangelical churches, and so I am attributing the large number of "born again" related questions to this fact. (Yes, I realize that October is another popular month for this designation.)

And so my question is this: If I don't agree with your belief that the *manner* in which God gives us salvation is by calling us to the sinner's prayer and a born-again experience, am I just as unsaved as a person who denies the Gospel?

And if not, then why are we being targeted?
