Since many people in this forum keep using the word neocon I'd like to see if they know what it actually means. Which is the real definition of neocon:

A. A young conservative

B. Moderate political conservatism espoused or advocated by former liberals or socialists who are typically of the jewish religion or are pro-Israel. Also sometimes used as a synonym for zionist.

C. Person who wants to take over the world by military force

D. Synonym for Republican or conservative.

E. Synonym for a member of the religious right or moral majority.

F. A member of the Bush administration or one who espouses their ideals.

Been together for 7mos. There is this girl that had wanted to go out with him before we met. She is married with 2 kids and lives in a different state. In the past 2wks she has been calling for dumb things to talk to him. One was if he had talked to a mutual friend of them. Other was that she was gonna send him pics of her kids and some kind of fund raiser they are doing. He tells me that right before we met she was gonna come visit him and see if things worked out between them and if they would of she was gonna leave hubby and come live down here w/kids. He says there has never been anything between them. That he has always told her that he would never have anything with her. I think there is something there he is not telling me. I trust him but dont see the reason behind them talking. He had a pic of her in his rm but he took it down. but still has pic of kids.Do you think Im been jealous and incosiderate? I dont know if I should tell him to stop talking to her or not?

Do you take the time to listen to the positions of both major political parties before you make your decision on where you stand in regards to a particular issue?
Or, is it easier for you just to blindly follow your chosen party for the simple fact that you feel that they represent your interests and beliefs in totality?

My family's all feuding-- it's all due to my parents' divorce & everyone on my mom's side hates my dad's side, & vice versa. anyhow, my brother & I were pretty much stuck in the middle, and my mom's side did a lot of things to try & force us to pick a [their] "side" (I was renting from my grandma & she kicked me out for talking to my dad; same grandma showered gifts on our cousins for their b-days/x-mas, but just gave us cards with 'double meaning' messages in side; our mom told us repeatedly that by talking to our dad we were encouraging him to screw her over, and pulled huge guilt trips on us if she ever found out we saw him, and called us liars if we didn't tell her ALL about the visits before she found out; that sort of thing)... also there were blogs made by my moms' friends (that I’ve never met) that were bad mouthing my dad, his family, & me & my brother (and our relationships)—well, my brother commented & told the person to mind their own business…
after reading it, my mom raged on my bro REALLY bad (at his house, in front of his 3 yr old) so he told her to leave or he'd call the cops. So now they don’t talk to each other anymore, and my 3 yr old nephew is scared of my mom. She denies he was even there & bad mouths my brother (whom I’m very close with)…
I don’t know how to deal with all the bad mouthing that I *KNOW* will occur during the holidays.... but if I don’t show up, I’ll never hear the end of it!!

What should I do?

Our friends dog lives outside in a large fenced area..He loves living outside, but he is killing so many birds... So far he has killed 5, and he brings them to her like a gift..
She doesnt want him to continue to kill all these birds, but she also doesnt want to put him on a chain..
--People have recomended that she tie the dead birds around his neck or beat him with the dead birds..but she isnt going to do that, so please dont recomend this!

Is there anything she can do to keep her dog from killing these birds?

My girlfriend and I have very low credit due to an issue that is being cleared up now. I should have better credit and cleared up debt in 6 months if things go well, but not great (not enough time). I am in an apartment and am never late with payments. What are my steps to go about getting in a $125-175,000 home. I was told to go find a mortgage company now, and they will help me plan what steps to take and how to clean things up? Is this true? I do not want to rent again but I am afraid that my credit will not be improved enough or my debts paid down enough to get me into a home. I would like to get an 80/20 loan, because I will not have built up enough assets to give a downpayment for my money now will go to cleaning up my credit. Any insight will be helpful. Thanks!

Can you wear shoes after getting a tattoo on your foot? Obviously its better not to wear shoes after a foot tattoo but not very practical. Ive been told that if you put cream and plastic over it will be fine. Is this true? Do you know of a better way to protect it?

I have known my husband & his family for 16 years . I was close to one of his girl cousin . We were invited to her wedding and we gave her $100.00 that was all we could afford . I had just had my twins and money was tight . Ever since then she doesn't call & when my husband calls she doesnt pick up the phone. Could it have been the money ?
