They cant even vote for there own Pope and now there being told what and probably who to vote for >The Bible warns us to keep the laws of govt unless it goes against God's law , not the church law . .Im sure some catholics have there own moral standard and dont have to be told what to do ,. At least they would if the followed the bible

at night does the fish actually go to sleap like we humans do. like do they close there eyes and go tot he bottom of the tank?

what kind of food should i feed it?how many times a day?
how long will it live?
how big should the bowl be?
how many days should i change the water?

My wife's church has over 10,000 members and is raising 200 million to pay for a new church. Do you know how many homes can be built for that amount of money? This type of thing isn't limited to my wife's church, "building funds" have become common in many of today's churches, in addition to tithes, offerings, prayer offerings, and the multitude of different ministry offerings. Many of these pastors have homes nicer than I do (and I am by no means without means).

The way I see it, there is no reason for a pastor to have a private plane or a church building worth more than 1 million (despite the size of the congregation) as long as there is even ONE person in his community that is without food and shelter. There is no reason for a person who gets paid from the contributions of others to have fine clothes when people in his/her community can't afford decent clothes.

I know that some churches do some charity work, but they are by far the minority. Where is the money going?

I keep having flashbacks and almost all of them are all the things that I really want to forget! If i think about this one subject and go deep into thought about it all of a sudden a flashback I want to forget pops out of nowhere! My mom suggested going to a psychologist or w/e but I really don't want to tell anyone what the flashbacks were because some of them are really private and embarrassing. I really don't know what to do and this hasn't been happening recently. It has been happening for a few years! It tortures me so much sometimes and if I'm having a fun time and there's a flashback my party mood dies. It really sucks! If you could give me suggestions to get rid of this problem or reduce it please tell me! Please and thank you! ^^

My 10 lb. 4 year old dog just ate my egg roll. I had already eaten the shell of it, (because i dont like the insides). Will she be ok? Its just cabbage and whatnots. Like I said, no shell... Just the veg's.

The flaming and stupid questions have really killed what could be a good place to disguss beliefs and ideas.

Atheist belong here. They have many valid points and some time very insightful ideas into religion.

Religious people belong here. Many of them can be intelligent and have some really decent ideas on theology.

What is not needed (Though I am sure I'll get some) Is flames and idiot reponses from either side

So anyway, I was wondering if you can get pregnant off the Depo shot? Isn't it like 99% effective? I got my first Depo shot at in the middle of September, my past period being August 21st. The doctor didn't want to wait until my next cycle for my period so she gave it to me on Sept. 19th. My guy and I had sex on Sep. 28, 29 and 30 under the asumption that I was protected. I didn't have my period until the 2nd week of October and it was dark, thick blood lasted 2 days I think. Nothing for two weeks and then I had watery, thin blood everyday for about three weeks. Now I haven't bleed in over a week but for three to four weeks now I have been nauseous, throwing up in the middle of the night, tension headaches, no appetite, constipated and smells are making my stomach turn. Oh, the other day I was so exhausted at work I came for two hours to nap! Possibility I am pregnant? This is my first round of Depo and I have heard of people getting pregnant! I have a doc appt in an hour! Help!!!

I frequently download PDF files that are in the range of 450-550KB in size. When I print them, they take forever. One print job (approx 18 pages) can take 20 min to print. Is there a way to speed the print process?

When I print from Word, Excel, Internet, etc. it prints instantly and very quickly.

Ok, I'm in the middle of a divorce, and my soon to be ex and I are arguing because I have a male friend that I talk to on the phone. Me and this guy are just friends, but my soon to be ex is paranoid and thinks that I want to be with this guy. I've known my guy friend for 4 years now and I don't feel that's its right for my soon 2 be ex to ask me to stop talking to him!! I agree that I don't need to be going to his house & I don't, or be in a relationship & I'm not, or engaging in sexual relations with him & I don't plan to, but I don't feel that I should cut him out of my life just because my soon to be ex doesn't like him.

So, there's this guy in a few of my questions who broke up with his girlfriend a while ago because she cheated on him. Him and I got kinda closer and he told one of our mutual friends that he liked me then she told me. I had feelings for him aswell, so we both flirted quite a bit and holding hands every once in a while and he even kissed the top of my head, but in a kidding kinda way. He told our mutual friend that he was worried that I didn't return the feelings but I hadn't told our friend that I actully do. I thought he got the message. Anyways, yesterday, I walked by him in the hallway, and we made eye contact but he didn't smile, or acknolage me, so when I went to wave he looked away. I let it go, figuring that he got distracted.

Later that day, we were in class together, and he wouldn't even look at me, let alone speak much. Just in a kind of non-chalent way though. So, I asked my friend 'What's up with him?!' and she replied 'He's back with his girlfriend.'

I am still breast-feeding my daughter (she is over a year old) a couple times a day (before nap and before bed) because it is a calming ritual for her. My nosy mother-in-law has said before to my husband (he has told me), "she's STILL breast-feeding?? Why??" And the other day she had the nerve to say to me, "You have to stop breast-feeding. You don't have a life!" How do I respond to something like that? I was totally shocked.
