If you have Theist friends do you actively try to get them to become Atheist? Or do you just keep your views to yourself unless they ask you about them?
I myself only talk about it if they ask me questions about it.

I'm an instrumentalist (primarily guitar - acoustic & electric -, piano (an electric-grand), and trumpet), and have been hoping to create a small home-recording set up, just for some instrumental tracks (perhaps vox in future, but I don't sing personally).
Right now, I do very dodgy stuff on an old web-chat microphone and Audacity.
I do however have a copy of Cubase on my laptop.
I generally record drum beats off the electric-grand, then add my instrumentation on top of that. However, I've lately had problems with lag (no doubt from the lack of pro set-up), and would like to have a slightly more serious thing.
I primarily record off my guitars (an electric, and an un-amplifiable acoustic, however I do plan to crystal-wire it sometime soonish), and then sometimes include piano or trumpet over that.
So what equipment (as a minimum) would be good to work with? I don't know all the terminology, so you might have to explain, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

here's the deal - a friend just started having her kids come home after school - and will be by themselves for 1 1/2 to 2 hours every day, until mom or dad get home from work. Is this too young?

My ex and I have been split for more than 7 years now. We split because I found him cheating on me. He married the woman I caught him with, incidentially he's cheating on her too (Karma). Obviously there's no love loss between me and this woman. We've had words for a while at the beginning until I realized that only boosted my ex's ego. It's been more than 5 years that I have not even spoken one word to her and today I recieved an e mail from Reunion.com that a woman her age from her town, incidentially the only people I from her town, had checked my profile. I can't stand being in the same room with my ex let alone talk to him about his wife's activities. He's pissed because I won't play his games. They're both PYSCHO and I want nothing to do with either one. What should I do? She used to do this a few years ago and it's just creepy.

My wife of 8 years has pretty much been fed up with my crap. I have not been a great husband for a while now. I haven't done anything to help. I emotionally cheated, so nothing physical. I've just been an ***. Over the past couple of months, after she told me she was on the verge of leaving, I have completely changed the way I do things, my priorities have changed, I'm motivated to make it work (maybe too much). It's sad that it took this, but I've realized she's the one I want forever. She's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I truly have changed in more ways than one. I tend to get over anxious to make things right. It's hard to love so much and get little in return. I know how she felt.

My daughter was refered to the hospital last year because during an eye exam she happened to mention that when she reads she has above line bluring(when the words she sees blur making two lines of the same writing one above the other).We were told this is unusual as most people who have double vision see side to side blurring.At the hospital we were told she has above normal vision and that it can't be corrected by wearing glasses as it's not an eyesight failing.This is causing my child to be behind in her reading and spelling at school,my daughters 12.
Is there a name for this condition and does anyone else suffer from it?
What tips if any do you have for dealing with reading(my daughter gets bored of reading the same line over and over in a piece of text because of the blurring).

Get it str8! We're not "non-believers!" We're non-fanatic, non-agnostiphobic, non-fundamentalist, non-religious. But NOT non-believers! That slur makes atheists and agnostics sound like the little party-pooper neighbour kids who won't get into the spirit of the game of pirates or Robin Hood, but instead keep telling all the other rug-rats, "That's NOT a real pirate ship! That's just a dumb laundry basket!"
