I have just read an article stating that King Tut, the boy king, was unmasked today. His mummy is now going on tour starting in london on november 15. The article also states that he has to be in a climate controlled area or he will turn to dust within 50 years. C'mon. The guy is a vulture. Whenever someone dominates but can't finish, JJ is there to sneak away with the trophy.

And NASCAR doesn't understand why ratings are down and attendance is shriveling.

Don't give me you "you've gotta be there at the end" or "he comes on when it matters" crap. It's flimsy and you know it.

for cookies, candy bars, non-diet sodas, orange juice...anything with sugar. I know that's ok for a temporary fix, but it's usually his only nutrition for the day. Since my birthday, Oct 18, Mom has seen dad eat ONLY 1 poptart and several mello yello's. NEVER eats regularly, NEVER exercises, sleeps (or is in bed) most of the day, drinks HEAVILY every day (normally 1.75 liter of vodka/whiskey every 2-4 days!!). Mom noticed recently how purple his left leg was, also blotchy purple on both arms. His blood sugar episodes leave him immobilized, and eventually soiling and/or wetting himself. There are poop and pee stains throughout the house, especially in and around his recliner, in and around his side of the bed, and in his bathroom. He's temporarily lost the use of his legs--for minutes or hours at a time--and once, at least, couldn't see. I need GOOD sources of info for him. He needs it all written down for him what he can and can't do. He's VERY STUBBORN, he thinks no one notices.

I've wanted to get my nose pierced for a long time, but my dad has always had some excuse of why he wont let me.
I was wondering if anyone could post some things about nose piercings (e.g., Does it hurt, How long it'll take to heal, Is it safe, Will you bleed...) and a lot others too.
Basically post everything you know about nose piercings. I want to get the right side of my nose pierced and I want one of those small hoops. Not the one that like sticks out of your nose but the one that stays really close to your nose. Can i get that if i just got it pierced? or is there like a rule that you need to get a stud when you first get it pierced?
and with makeup, if i wanted to wear concealer on my face by not near my nose piercing would that be fine?

The tag line on hundreds of comments I have read either begin with or end with - think for yourself, don't be a mindless follower, or some other similar variation.

However, if you try to disagree with many of these people they will go on a profanity laced tirade at the mere suggestion that you think they could possibly be wrong.

Furthermore they seem to be operating under the false assumption that Christian beliefs are uniform throughout the entire Christian population, rather than wildly diverse and from every concievable political and theological perspective imaginable.

Isn't what they are really saying, "Be a free thinker and agree with me?"

According to the CLSB, it's ok to contract home improvement if $500. or less without a contractor's license, But if it's $501 it is now a misdemeanor, punishable with fines from $200-$15,000. The California state constitution says in Article 1 section 16 that: "....no law impairing the oblibation of contracts shall ever be passed." I say the whole thing is "color of law." If I make a contract with my neighbor to paint his house for $3000.00, that's between me and them. The state has no right to interfere WHAT-SO-EVER!!!!! Who agrees with me? Most of what we have come to know as "Law" is repugnant to the Constitution and is therefore null and void. (see Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. (2 Cranch) 137 (1803). We cannot assert our rights if we don't know what they are. It's time we stop living in fear of this thing called government.

I basically googled 'charismatic church' in my area and this was where we ended up. For those who don't know what that means, it's the name it and claim it, God wants you to be healthy and wealthy 'gospel' which, in reality, is no gospel at all.

What was weird was that their worship seemed, to me, to be so spirit filled, but then when the preaching started, was I in for a shocker.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? What say you about the prosperity 'gospel'?

(My counter argument to them would be: Well, it sure doesn't seem like *Jesus* was wealthy while He was on earth --- and isn't He who we are to imitate?)
