feeding should cover themselves in public? Please understand I am not trying to offend anyone. I don't have a problem with breast feeding, and I praise the mothers who do breast feed their children (I did many years ago). However, I think there is such a thing as modesty with it. I am not asking women to go shut themselves off from the world to breast feed, but I think they should cover themselves. Am I alone on this issue? I used to cover myself when I breast fed my children and never whipped out my breast for the world to see, and none of my children have emotional problems. I just didn't feel the need to say to the world "Hey look at me I am breast feeding. Woohoo". This question came to mind because we have a lady in our church (Catholic) who sits in the front pew with her family and she nurses her baby during the service.

A year can make a big difference in your life, no? I know I have, one of my best friends told me that not too long ago. I recently went through all the answers I've posted (the oldes is a year ago), and that brought up the thought of how I've changed in the past year. I mean, in the past few months, I've changed religions, grown sadder, stopped trying to fit in so much, changed views (practically pulled a 180), changed how I draw, some of my interests, tastes, etc. Some of it appears to be for the good, but some of it is bad, some stuff I want to get away from.
My question to you is:
How have you changed ?
How much of it is for the good and how much of it is bad?

I'm bipolar... medications were not working, now... everybody left me... I live alone in a little 1 bdrm. apartment...

And they leave so subtly... one day they are around, then slowly they start to cut me off... before I know it, they just disappear, never answer a phone call, an e-mail, or an IM... now I've got nobody... my parents are over seas, my friends all hate me...

but I guess this is just my side of the story... each of my friends probably has their own legitimate reason for why they hate me:
* Can't make conversation
* Too negative
* Too crazy
* Kind of creepy
* Too obsessed
* Jerk

I guess people don't want to deal with it... could I be THAT bad? Oh, well… I guess I’ll just go about my college life and finish my “crap degree” (as my parents put it) in Philosophy… was college life not supposed to be fun and vibrant? Nothing is happening? and I do get out... I make some friends, but as soon as they know me, they leave...

I just found out that a co-worker's family member passed away two weeks ago. This co-worker and I aren't close but she is a really nice person. Would it be appropriate to send her a card even though it's been two weeks since the funeral?

A few weeks ago I was at the dog park and a little dog was there running around with a muzzle. Apparently, the owner was a guy with a couple youngish kids. When they were getting ready to leave, somehow one of the kids took off the dog's muzzle. I overheard the dad say something like "What'd you do that for? He can kill another dog." Now, likely he was exaggerating, but still...

In one way, I look at it and say that the dog park can be great for unsociable dogs to learn appropriate dog social skills. I totally sympathize with these people if this is what they're attempting. On the other hand... if that dog really is dangerous... is it worth the risk?

OK, so some stupid kid took off his dog's muzzle. But not all dogs have stupid kids attached to them. If the muzzle is secure, do you think it's that bad?

Would you leave the dog park if a muzzled dog showed up?

If you had a dog you were rehabilitating, would you ever take him to the park muzzled to develop his socialization skills?

I was just wondering if people (T.V., Newspapers, etc.) made a big deal of his death?

I'm hoping they did! And I definately can't remember because I was about three years old at that time :(

I can't stop thinking that his death might have not been of much imporatance. If something as lame as Paris Hilton's jail sentence got more attention than Freddie's death, i will be shocked. Please say it ain't so

I just recently discovered/fell in love with QUeen's music, and I don't know much about Freddie or the band

If anyone remembers anything that happened/was done in the media due to Freddie's death (huge ceremony?, his death being mentioned a lot in the news?), I'D LOVE TO GET SOME DETAILS, THOUGHTS, COMMENTS, INTERNET LINKS, ANYTHING

THanks!!!

Right now I am pursuing a degree in Archaeology but I am also interested in Medicine, I've always loved those doctor shows like ER, House, Greys anatomy etc... Should I just study on my own and satisfy my curiosity or take it further. I find it fascinating but ironically, the whole surgery part and internal part kind of grosses me out, but other than that I like the rest, learning about how the body works and illnesses etc... and such. What should I do?

I've been dating this guy for 5 months and we only see each other maybe 2 days a week on the weekend. I just wanted to hear about what other peoples experience...soo If you can answer any of these questions, or you have any advise I would appreciate it!!

Did it work? How long did it last? How far away were you from each other? How often did you talk? Is it worth it?

I am 19 years old and am going to college. I live at home and commute a total of around 3 hrs each day just to get to school. I am doing a double major in Political Science and History with a minor in Legal Studies. I hope to finish school in a total of 2 yrs (I'm almost done) and then go to law school

My problem is that I get a lot of BS from people because I am 19 and don't have a job. I spend over 50 hours at school, and spend most of my weekends volunteering. I get straight A's and take about twice as many classes as my friends who get C's and work....is it wrong for me to spend my time doing volunteer work and trying to finish college in half the time?

My parents don't want me to work because they are from a different country and they were raised that only kids whose parents cannot afford to help out their kids have jobs you shouldn't work, period. I don't have all that much time to myself and most.of my spare time is spent studying. Why do so many hate that i don't have a job
