Yesterday she pulled me into her office to accuse me of stealing food (and the day before that I was written up because my hair was still wet and the day before that for not wearing hose--I work in a cublcle typing all day, I do not deal with customers, etc) and today she comes to me and says so how are you TODAY (all caps because thats what she emphasized) to which I said I am just fine TODAY (emphasizing same word) to which she said I need to see you in my office NOW. In her office she stood so close to me I could see her mascara clumps and told me that if my attitude continued she was going to write me up, that it was unprofessional and subordinate. Then she turned her back to me, opend the door and said end of conversation--and raised her eyebrow, waiting. Didn't trust myself to say anything so I nodded, to which she said, a nod isnt going to do it, saying I understand would be appropriate. So I growled I understand and she says, as I am walking back to my desk..

I have been giving them a number and I hope it's not too high for the market. I wanted to go a little high since I really got screwed on my last job. Some people at my old job were making $5 an hour more than me and I know I was more skilled and qualified. I don't want to make the same mistake again, but I also hope that I'm not so high that I don't get a call for an interview.

California veterans are up in arms over a ban on the flag-folding ceremony at 125 national ceremonies following a complaint.
The Memorial Honor Guard folds the American flag 13 times. Those folds were originally meant to represent the 13 colonies, but now hold secondary meanings such as life, eternal life, departed veterans, etc., the Chico Enterprise Record reports.

But a complaint about the 11th fold — representing the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and veterans say, meant to honor Jewish troops — prompted the National Cemetery Administration to halt the ceremony in the state's 125 national cemeteries, the paper reported.
"Every time we turn around, something else is going down," John Schultz, a Chico, Calif.-veteran, told the paper. "Next they'll be asking us to take all the crosses and flags out of the cemeteries, too."

a friend of mine was visiting America last year, he was walking back home with his girlfriend around 12:30 am when a 3 armed men took them somewhere and raped his girlfriend front of his eyes and shot him in his hand ..

sorry for the bad story, but this happened one year ago in Michigan during a student exchange in my college ..

does this happens a lot in there ??

We are a family of four immigrating from Cape Town, South Africa to Victoria, Australia .... never been to Oz before .... got a job at Volvo in Dandenong .... not sure in which area to rent .... all the areas looks nice on paper BUT is it? Let me make it so simple that even anti-McCanns should be able to understand...

I do not condone child neglect of any kind.

But that does not mean that I must have no compassion or sympathy for two people who have been without their child for 6 months.

If you feel that it does then I pity you and your simple minds.

Imagine if doctors and nurses were like anti-McCanns...

Alcoholics with liver damage would just be left to die - "I'm not treating you, serves you right for drinking so much."

I believe that God does not create things without a purpose. Even the smallest insect does a special job. So I believe it is possible that There might be life on different planets.Not hostile like in the movies but maybe copies of us. In a sense we were created for our in enviroment or we have "Adapted" ex.If our noses were upwards, we would drowned if it rained. So maybe there are aliens that look different simply because they have been created or adapted to their enviroment. But do you think the other planets were created because we were supposed to live forever and after the earth was populated we`d have to find new places to live?

I heard that SAW 5 in the planning for next year! I haven't seen the 4th one yet, but I think they're getting carried away. Its gonna be the Friday the 13th of the 21 century.LOL. Even though I do love Jason.

But does anyone else think that they're getting carried away with the SAW movies? Is it just about easy now with the franchise?
