I always wear black or brown but do have other coloured clothes. i am still laughing at myself now as i have just popped to near by shop wearing , longish navy skirt, brown tee shirt, pale green long cardigan and pale pink espadrilles, black handbag. What a fright. Do you do odd things?

one of my boyfriends Employees is telling him that he wants to file for exemption on his taxes. His employee is 52 yrs old and claims he qualifies to claim exemption.

What are the qualifications for this in Michigan?

My sim has the want to " Drink Lucy"
i read the describtion for it and it sayd somthing about a Laganaphyllis Simnovorii(??) plant witch makes a sims life longer by taking someone elses, where do i get it and what is it exactly? does it kill another sim or just take a cupple of days i don get it.

Did *anyone* think they were a good idea? Now, thong underwear and swimwear; fine, no problem.

But lycra shorts and then a thong leotard on top? Why??

Were they actually comfortable? (Fortunately, I'm too young to have actually worn such an outfit...)

P.S. Have I got the time period right? I think the fashion started in the mid 80s and died out in the early 90s?

That you say offensive things to Christians b/c you know they can not say offensive things to you back? And that your just waiting for them to so then you can say"aha! your a hypocrite!" Often on R&S I see answers from unbelievers that are just outright mean and offensive but, I rarely see Christians answering with such offense. Think about. Is it this a fair statement?

This is one area where the genders are clearly unequal. Some of the people on this forum might seem to disprove this, but they're not representative of the genpop. It is (and has been for decades) quite acceptable to point out the shortcomings of most men publicly, without much in the way of fear of even a reasoned response, let alone the woman ending up in the doghouse. But if a man even hints at the shortcomings of most women quietly, and he's overheard.....watch out. If he points out that a shortcoming of his woman is just her being a woman, he's lashed out against or she quietly puts him in the doghouse. But, she is free to blithely state that his selfishness is just a guy thing, or that he stinks or looks like crap. Let me know if you need more examples.
What if the masculinists & anti-feminists made as their goal a level playing field in just this regard, and went from there? Are they not willing to suffer the consequences? Are they not aware that they allow this inequity?

Someone asked a question about fundamentalist christians and i wondered about the similarities...

Atheists argue that fundamentalism is an inevitable consequence of religion and appeals to those who cannot tolerate arguments against religious faith.

Miltant atheism has been criticised as being fundamentalist because of its aggressive criticism towards theism. For example, when Albania declared itself an atheist state, it was deemed by some to be a kind of fundamentalist atheism and where Stalinism was like the state religion which replaced other religions and political idealogies. Any one practising a non-Stalinist religion or setting up a different political party would be sent to prison or tortured.

Militant atheism has been criticised in that it can be dogmatic and intolerant. Richard Dawkins is an example for his dogmatic intolerance to theists.

What are your thoughts? No offense to either end of the spectrum intended.

Mostly christians and anti-christians often debate about judging the people. I am just curious and wants to know, why some people says that we should not judge. I mean, the moment you see a person or you speak to the person, we tend to judge them, its natural to me. But, to make some serious decision about the person I definitely would try to make more investigate. But, I will have to judge, atleast regarding that aspect with which I am related to the said person. Why do people and specifically christians says that we should not judge even for worldly matters. I know that final judgement will be of God.
A curious muslim.

Dont get me wrong. I don't blame anyone for the way I have turned out. In fact, I just found myself to be unfortunate in this category. Its not like I am dissatisfied with myself or hating the world. I was born to a chinese family where emotions such as affection were not really shown. I did not really develop bond with people (with parents I was sent to the states to study at early age so i dont have that connection, with friends I was often backstabbed and socially withdrew)

Although I am in college, I find myself to better atleast. Being able to socialize and have friends. I do notice however that I am very laid back and calm. I never complain or stress out about anything. I am always in a neutral state of mind, dont quite often daydream and takes me no time to fall asleep

I have come to realize recently after talking things w/ my gf (not being able to express love) that I have been living life emotionally withdrawn. I feel emotions but describing them is like impossible to me

My grandfather just found out he has cancer of the esophagus. I have done some reading and I have no illusions of him beating this disease. He is 80 years old and has led a good life. I want to know what his death will be like. I had an uncle die from lung cancer last year and it was the worst thing I have ever seen. He was completely unrecognizable when he died. Please tell me this won't happen to my grandfather.
