Okay, my 401(k) plan investment options suck. I want to roll the money into an IRA so I can choose better (lower fee) options.

However, our plan does not offer in-service withdrawals, and I like my job.

Can I arrange a scheme with my employer where I "quit" for a period of time, unpaid, and then I am hired back? If so, can I rollover the funds while I have "quit"?

I am fully vested in my 401(k), and my employer has a written policy in place where employees who are re-hired within four years keep all their seniority benefits like vacation time and 401(k) vesting schedules, so the only thing I would lose would be my paycheck while I am in "quit" status.

If this is legal and works, how long would I have to "quit" for in order to do all the required paperwork? What risks am I incurring by trying this?

-->Adam

The strangest thing happened today in the beautiful city park in Budapest, Hungary.
My soon to be 60 year old husband and myself took a stroll in the park just to be out in nature and feed the ducks.Something we really enjoy doing. We sat on a park bench to rest a bit. There across from where we were sitting 50 yards away were some tables where seniors were sitting playing chess. All of a sudden a tall young blonde women in a black tube top and black mini skirt pulls her top down and squats down lifting up her skirt while a man with pro. style cameras starts shooting pictures of her. All this is going on in front of everyone in site.People just had their mouths open in surprise. What is the world coming to?

My daughter keeps blaming me for her not getting good grades or being prepared for tests. She is 15 and in 11th grade. Her GPA is about 2.9.

She lived with her father from age 10 to 15. She just came to live with me in another state and has had to adjust to a new school, etc.

She keeps saying to me "Thanks for making me fail." I do help her study and make tests/ quizzes for her and ask her questions from her school subjects.

I don't know how responsible I am though for her grades. I am trying my best, but I am only one person. I know that if my ex-husband was with me, he would blame for all of her failures.

My daughter keeps saying, "I am going to fail" and I don't know how to react to this.

The organization is funded by George Soros and run by leftist David Brock. And Brock is close to Bill Clinton's former chief of staff John Podesta, founder of the powerhouse Democratic think tank Center for American Progress. Podesta is one of Hillary Clinton's top policy advisers.

What have you war supporters personally sacrificed for this occupation, I mean war? Paying more to fill your gas tank doesn't count, we've all had to pay that price.

Are there Taxis at the 30th street station in Philadelphia? Or do I need to call ahead?
I was just worried when I get there if I will be able to find a taxi.

I want to buy a CD, Parallel Lines by Blondie. There are two versions, the remastered one, or the 1994 original. Which would be best?

I am a bit dubious about remastered versions; some have been tinkered with too much, and lose something of the original.

I've only been going out with her for 2 months. I think she's still having connections with her X boyfriend.(5years of relationship overseas)

I am 22 and she's 27 and neither of us residents in the country we are living now. Both international students from different countries completely supported by parents overseas.

Her point; We are not stable enough to have a baby. As soon as parents stop support we are screwed big time.

My point; I don't want to kill My son or daughter although she just missed her period and came to know she's pregnant. But I can't think of a way to live by myself with all the laws for migration and poor income.

I can't force her to keep the baby as I can't afford a family but still I Love babies so much. I don't know weather she's feeling the same. Maybe her plans are different.
As I guess, she just wanted to have some fun with me and continue with her long term relationship overseas. This was a mistake. But I always care about her. What should I do?

A lot of human history goes back a couple ten-thousand years. When we talk about civilizations that don't go further than 4000 BC, creationists trust those findings. It just seems like 6000 is not really a special number.

In class we used calorimeters to determine the caloric density of one planters peanut, but the resulting number was much much lower than the planters label indicates. My teacher asked us why that is and of course i said because the serving size on the label is much larger than the one we used in the experiment. she said this was wrong. the only hint she gave is that every year in her class the experiments caloric density gets lower and lower. Does anyone know why?
