So many of the toys are the same! I have a theory:

I think that they make these because they know that the parents will buy them simply out of nostalgia! I've seen this happen with my own friend who has a little girl. I've been with her in the toy isle, and the kid will want one toy, but my friend will buy her one of the toys that she had when she was a kid instead!

My husband and I went to adopt a kitten. It was sooo cute, gray with white paws. But in order to be considered we had to fill out like 7 forms , a background investigation and 100 dollars. After we applied and everything we but we were beat out by a couple with a bigger home. I was so upset. And I dont just want to outside and pick up a stray. Is there an agency with an easier way to adopt?

Me and my wife are in New York for New Years Eve. We have never been before and would love to experience the atmosphere in Times Square. I am a little worried about standing for hours in the cold and i am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how best to experience it. i am not bothered about being in the center we just want to be part of the experience.

We are quite happy to pay out for a bar or restuarant that would have a view.

We are open to other suggestions to so any advise is appreciated.

We are staying at a hotel in NYC but it dosen't overlook the square.

Been seeing someone for a while, not that long really. I got to know him through my firend (it's her brother) and he is 23. I am 35 will 3 older children. We went on some really nice dates but after the last one he bombarded me with texts teliing me he loved me etc etc. It all seems a bit quick and I could understand if I had known him for ages before dating but I didn't. He is acting really clingy and calling all day when I am at college even though my phone is off. He says he wouldn't know what to do without me and things that I might only say after seeing someone for a long time. He calls every evening now before I go to bed even if I have seen him in the evening. We end up on the phone for ages and I can't get away. This is doing my head in and I'm tired for college in the morning. I tried telling him but he went a bit funny with me for a bit then it's gone back to this. I seriously cannot deal with this in a long term relationship, it's a bit like having another kid! What do I do?

Statistics show most marriages fail;

Most people in a committed relationship cheat anyway (so why bother marrying?);

How could Jesus, who was in heaven, receive Stephen's spirit if a man's spirit ceases to exist when the body dies and if no one could enter heaven until the year 1914? Similarly, if the soul ceases to exist after the death of the body, why does Paul say that he would rather be “absent from the body” so he could go make his “home with the Lord” (2Cor 5:8), and why would he say that he would rather depart from this life so that he could go be with Christ (Phil 1:23)? How could Paul be “with Christ” and make his “home with the Lord” if no one could enter heaven until 1914?
