i dont get why god charges you for his book...

shouldnt his book be free to anyone who wants to learn about him?

silly christians. (dont give me this, "it costs money to produce them" nonsense, because we all know book stores get them from a manufacturer, and then mark the price up to make a profit on them)

shouldnt it be a sin to make money off of gods word?

This Saturday I have a birthday party planned at 9pm for me and a friend there will probably be 20 guests in a small apartment. There will probably be loud music and smoke and lots of people making lots of noise. I was supposed to pick up my new 2 month old Pug that day, I should probably wait until Sunday right? Yes, I know this may be a stupid question.

George William Hughes D'Aeth was an attorney at the firm of Fairfoot, Webb & Daeth in 1852, 12 & 13 Clements Inn, London. I should clarify this is when I saw the date of him being there, he may have started before this.

He died in approx. June 1873 and was replaced by a name I can't find at the present time. What I would love to know is, what happened to the legal firm? Did it go under? Did it change hands? Was it taken over? Is there any trace of it out there? Any info on my ancestor's involvement?

If anyone could help I'd be a very happy man!

You say women are best equipped to be wives and mothers. How do you explain people like Britney Spears or the women whose 3 year old autistic son was found playing out on the highway when she was passed out high as a kite on her couch? Would you argue that they are best equipped to care for their children? In a survey by advice columnist Ann Landers in the 1970s, 40% of mothers said if they could have it to do all over again they would have not had children. And what about women like me who simply do not want to have children, nor ever will?
Also, this question is more for the men: Why is Baby #1's assertion that women are best fit to care for children, and not men, not interpretated as misandrism? Many male "anti-feminists" here talk about how feminism is the culprit of unfair child custody agreements for fathers, yet Baby #1 doubts your capacity to care for your own children, and she is looked upon with googley eyes by many male "anti-feminsists" here. I don't understand it.

I just started trying to sell Mary Kay and frankly I feel like a fool. I do not live in a large area and I noticed that there seems to be quite a few consultants already. I tried to research as best as I could but unfortunately I didn't come across all of them until after I bought the start-up kit, the web site and a few other items (but no inventory) to try and get going. At this point I feel like I would like to just make my money back and call it a day. I do have a debut scheduled but I am not sure if I really even want to go though with that. Any suggestions?

products ... i have a terrible lifestyle, consume a lot of alcohol and other chemicals and I'm still very thin. I don't consume a lot of calories - rather my diet mostly consists of smart ones tv dinners and canned soups, and I eat fast food about once a week or once every two weeks. I want to detox my system and start getting healthy, but I think it's going to be hard to go vegan. Mind you, it's not a politically oriented decision because I believe in the concept of the food chain and eating other animals, but I know it's a tremendously healthy diet and I need some tips to help me change my lifestyle. Anyone have any insight?

I've lived in 5 apartments in my life. Of all those apartments, all of the managers' attitudes have ranged from mildly rude to down right sneaky and mean! Why is this? They have also all been white women, varying in ages. The current apartment I am in has probably the worst/meanest management of all the apartments I have lived in--and that's pretty bad.

Seriously, has anyone else noticed this? They are some of the unhappiest people in the world.

Now, i say this not because i agree with the actions, but because i see the benefits of legalization.

Abortion- before abortion was legal, back alley abortions were performed with coat hangers and broom sticks. They were unsanitary, and not only would the baby die, but the mother could too. By having abortion legal, it provides a safe environment for women to have the procedure done that is sanitary and regulated. Making it illegal does not eliminate its existance, only eliminates the ability for it to be regulated, thus safe.

Prostitution- By having legalized prostitution you would be able to test the women for diseases on a regular basis, and also ensure that their pimp or client is not beating them up because they would be in a safe environment. It would also add tax revenue to our government. Prostitution exists already, we wont get rid of it, by it being legal we can regulate it and make it reasonably safe for both prostitute and client.

i am pregnant due November 25th 2007. i just recently went to the dr to do my last sonogram. i am not a high risk pg, never had a miscarriage, & this is my 1st baby. When the pics came back from the sono (she showed me &you could definately tell) that the babies left kidney was "dialated" she called it. She said that it was only a "mild" case & she wasn't worried. she'd be more worried if it were fully dialated/inflammed and if they both were. I asked her what causes this? She said they really dont know.they think it's becuz sonograms have gotten so indepth &clear & are progressing everyday that they never looked at this before& it was never noticable?!she said that they see this quite often these days, & that i shouldn't worry cuz she wasn't. they will just check the baby when she's born & check her kidney's&make sure they aren't failed. so why tell me this if your not worried right? freak me out! i just wanted to know if any women had something like this and what ever came of it!!
