My threadfin butterfly has white spots at the very tip of his tail, and top of his fin only. He is eating normally, and is not exhibiting an unusual behavior. I started running a UV sterilizer last night. I can't decide if I should setup a hospital tank (I have inverts, so can't treat for ich in the main tank). Is this ich, or possibly something else? How long can I 'wait and see'?

I have to spray paint a certain styrofoam sculpture for a friend but the thing is I'm gonna be using automotive acrylic and we all know that would melt styrofoam. Now I heard there's something you could apply to the styrofoam first which would prevent it from melting when spraypainted on.

Btw, I'm sticking to automotive acrylic and telling me to use another kind of paint is out of the question.

My mother weighs around 210 lbs. She carries herself very well and doesn't look bad, believe it or not.
Okay so anyway, she has to have surgery but the dr. put her on a liquid diet for 8 weeks. I'm worried about this. Anyway, the calories barely total 800 per day.
At her weight how much is she going to lose on a liquid diet for two months? I read somewhere that she will probably lose between 35-50 lbs, is this true? I mean isn't this DANGEROUS?

everytime i ahve my central heating on - gasboiler, they tap adn creak. it sounds like a very loud clock ticking and it is so annoying becuase they do it about 35 times then stop for a few seconds then start again.

Found a modified Saiga in .223 for sale and wanted some help in trying to determine if the price they are asking is for is OK. The modifications include the pistol grip and the repositioning of the trigger in a more traditional AK setup. It has a 16"3/4 barrel and the standard 10 round mag. What would be a resonable price to pay?

Also, from what I have read, it seems that the Saiga is better in quality than the Romanian WASR. Does anyone know how it compares the Yugo that is currently for sale in the market?

Can anyone comment on experience with the .223 v/s the 7.62 model. Is there a significant difference as far as the reliability and performance of the rifle?

I wasn't invited as I became aquainted with this person, long after the wedding guest list was set up. However, I was aware of the wedding, the date, even met her fiance. Thing is she moved to Washington the day after the wedding. I didn't have a chance to stop by and congratulate or see her off. I did email her and congratulate her...and commented her on the wedding photos. I got her address now, I was wondering is it tacky to send a gift & congrates card 1 month after the big day. She knows I have a hectic schedual with work and family, so I haven't got to mail the package off yet.
Should I still mail it out or should I just leave it at the email congrats?
