I started my boston terrier on Frontline for fleas two months ago. By the second dosage, I am still seeing a few fleas on him. My roomate has a kitten and she is not on Frontline or anything for fleas. My dog goes outside, but her cat stays inside. Ive seen a few on her once in a while. Is he getting them from her, or is he bringing them in from outside and if he is, does it take time for the fleas to bite and get the Frontline into their systems and die? Im really annoyed because I payed all this money to prevent this from happening. I really feel like calling and complaining about this to Frontline and demand my money back. What should I do?

For instance, I type the following into my calculator:

(1/3)^8

It then spits back at me a long number to a power of ten:

1.524157903 E -4

I would like to view this number as a fraction, but selecting it as a fraction from the MATH menu does not work. It also does not help to change the mode of the calculator.

I know that the number CAN be written as a fraction (1/6561). I just need to know how to arrive at that.

I have my passport with valid UK visa (I am not British), but this passport had no more pages so I got new passport and have to transfer my visa into it, but home office told me to apply by post. I have no time to do it. I have my old passport with visa, but there is corner cut on it (makes it invalid) and I have my new passport with no visa. Can I travel like that to Poland? (and no, I am not Polish). Home office officer told me that I can, but maybe he just wanted to get rid of me as I kep asking why cant I get my visa transfered in person (not by post).

I hear coffee grinds is a good organic fertilizer but not sure how to use it. Should it be mixed in the soil or can you just sprinkle on top? Does it matter? I have a slight stuttering problem whenever I talk for more than 20 seconds sometimes. It usually happens when I become really nervous or anxious and want to hurry up and end a sentence, and I end up tripping on my own words. When I was in my teens, I was very quiet and didn't talk alot, so I think that has alot to do with it, lack of speech practice I guess.

Anyway, no one gives me crap or lip about it, but I'm really self-conscience about it and would like to improve my speech, it would help alot when I'm at work, since I do quite a bit of troubleshooting and debating in a team environment.

Suggestions?

For example: can anyone tell me a good and logical argument why a State's Electoral College Votes could not be distributed in proportion to the popular vote polled by each candidate in that prticular state.

i.e., if the Republican candiate polled 50%, the Democrat 40% and the Green candidate 10% why could that states ECVs be ditributed in the same proportion ?

Surely such a system would be fairer and more representative. It would also encourage participation as surely the present system acts as a disincentive to vote. For example: if you are a GOP supporter in New York or a Democrat in Utah - whatis the point in voting or the President when you know it will make no real difference.

Does anyone know of some online or from home jobs that are available? There's a lot of scams out there, so I dunno which is good or not. I'm getting married on October 26th, and currently don't have much of an income. My fiance makes about $500 per paycheck, every two weeks. I'm only making about $100 a week -- babysitting. A job that kinda got tossed on me. We can't live by that -- barely enough for groceries and gas. Not to mention that we have two large dogs (one is 67lbs and one is 90lbs) and a cat that we have to afford for. We also have rent, though only $50 a month, its 50 we don't have. I need the work asap and I don't have any education after highschool (no money, no school.) So if anyone knows of anything, PLEASE tell me. Preferrably not babysitting. Anything with animals is great, and i'm good on computers as well. Thanks!
