My fiance says I'm a nut to believe anything bad that I hear/read (he's Jewish). My friend is from Egypt and has told me a few things that haven't been made the news here.

I do know that I have seen a documentary of 2 soldiers killing a woman in front of her 2 kids because she was not cooperating (inside their home). Afterwards they interviewed the soldiers and they said "I don't feel bad for it, I don't have to justify it".

But, Israeli's do have to be a bit nuts to live where they do. Sandwiched between crazy countries!

serious question.

I personally didn't lose my virginity until really late, like 22, and felt really miserable/depressed through my teen years for being so sexless, while all my friends were getting it regularly.

Now my only son is 15, he knows about sex, and I'm sure he wants it as much as I did at his age. Would it be wrong for me to try to give him suggestions on how to pick up women. I'm not religous so I don't do the whole "save it till' marriage" crap.

I mean teach him practical things. How to suggest drinking to girls, how to mix drinks so they will get chicks drunk, which women to go after, safe sex practices, leting him have women alone in the house, supplying him with porn to study, lying to women ("I love you", etc.). Just you know, the basic strategy he'll need. I also have some books on picking up women I can read him as bedtime stories.....you get the point.

Would this make me a bad father? Or simply be something he'll thank me for when he is older?

I just recently send a letter to a old from friend from elementary school i had a crush on she respond but the problem is she is in an abusive relationship and she also has a 4 year old son that witness this guy pushing his mom im the new guy in the middle i really like her alots but i smell alots drama because her and the guy lives together but she comes over and see me because she dont really wants to be with him it only been a few days so far she havent asked for any money or anything except my open ear she bought her son over but of course we didnt do anything sexually we just kissed a few times she says she likes me too im not sure when too tell her too leave him and what is the time limit i should give her i have my own place and we both the same age 26 years old i know this is alots drama for me to deal with but i dont want to pass on her because i like her alots what should i do and how should i proceed

I have been going through times of testing and I know we all do.
My problem is that I tend to focus on the needs I have now and worry and stress over them when everytime in the past God has ALWAYS been faithful to provide.
What are godly ways to not fret so much and what are realistic godly ways to just be in the now?
Is it normal to feel anxoius at times even though I love the Lord?

I want to go to Loyola University in Chicago.

My first question is, the application says to get your highschool counsler's recommendation....does that mean that i can't get a teacher's?

Also, a senior i knew last year got her recommendation done but the teacher she got it from typed it up and all that, but for most applications i've looked at they ask you to write everything on their lines...so how does that work?

Lastly, is it okay if i want to get recommendations from several of the teachers i've had and then compare and see which one i like?

I am a firm believer in only one True God, and I find peace in Him. I have been dating my girlfriend Lilly for about 10 months, and she and i have been pretty good, we are both 17 shes in her senior year and i in my junior year, lately she has been depressed about going to colleges and that she is too busy this year to hang out much but she wants to still go out with me and hang with her friends. She also is questioning her actually feelings for me, not sure if she actually "loves" me, i know she likes me but she is confused whether she wants to hold it out and struggle through the year, and start a long distance. I am already bending my usual behavior around her busy schedule, and she is worth it, I am just not sure of her intentions and she doesnt make them clear. What should I do, should I ask for a break, not breakup, just a break for 2 weeks or something, or just tough it out, she does care about me, but she is very busy.

My online bf and I are both 20 years old. We've had an online relationship for a year now and are making plans to visit one another. We are in love (i know some of you might not believe in online love, but for the sake of this question, just pretend you do). I want to have my parents support, but there has been a time in the past where Ive told them about an online realtionship and they have been completely against it. Whoo... that was a mouthful, I know.

But proofs only exist in mathematics. Nothing in science is 100% fact (i.e., proof). That's right -- not even gravity. No scientist can say they are absolutely certain that, say, the sun will rise tomorrow.

So, why, especially for infomercials and commercials, things being sold are said to be scientifically proven to work (for whatever it is they do)?

My sister in law has it in her head that we don't like her or my brother. Not true, we love my brother. She is cruel to my mom and was to my dad before he passed on June 12, 2007. She didn't help, support or agreed with our care plan for him. An example of her meaness is when I phoned for my brother the night my dad died, I told her he stopped breathing and she said "good". I can provide cruel examples for the past 25 years, however I won't, I will just give your a couple more that she did in the last 3 months. She planned my dad's funeral before he died. The first time we all though he was going she secured the church times and started on gathering food. This hurts my mom, since she is frail and misses my dad, her hubby of 59 years. I would like to get my brother back in speaking terms and not have him so mad at us for telling his wife, it stops now. Behave and play nice or don't play at all. What do you all think, offer, any words of productive realistice wisdom?
