read the book, disproving intelligent design. the name gives it away. if there is no intellegent design, then waht is there? unitellligent design is oxymoronic because design means, 'from a well thought out sign, a plan'. Some evolutionists made a computer simulator of the process. It came up that it is a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to have been properly created randomly. The smae people took a monkey and set it down at a computer, with the computer discarding the right and wrong letters, it took him 26*13* power tries in 5 hours to write "to be or not to be", which had been programed as the correct code. What does that mean? That there had to be some WISDOM of BAD and GOOD to be put in, in the beginning of the process do determine when the selected term had been reached. So what are the odds? a completely random process suceeded a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to walk the earth, or an all knowing omnipotent G-d decided to breath life into a void planet?

I was researching the different rates that I'd like to have for joining the Navy and CTN looked interesting. However, I cannot find any information about it. Can anyone give me info? Also, is it available to everyone now or do you still have to be a CT first?

Why is it that everyone is against hybrids in different species such as birds and dogs. Their argument is that they want to 'preserve' certain species. for instance some macaws are said to be endangered species so it is frowned upon to breed hybrid macaws (ie a blue & gold to a greenwing to get a harlequin) . However, these same people encourage the breeding of hybrid humans? Why is it ok to breed some animals while the very thought of limiting other animals (ie humans) is extremely politically incorrect? Why is one species important to protect and preserve while other animals are not?

I was reading some replys to the question about villeneuve going to NASCAR and i saw some ridiculous statements like "NASCAR has a bigger fanbase", "he knows he can make more money in NASCAR" and "NASCAR is the holy grail of racing"...

No its not and is in fact very far away from it. NASCAR may currently be the holy grail of American race series but it ranks well below F1 around the rest of the world.

The indy 500 still ranks far above the Daytona 500 in terms of history and prestige and if you asked most people which they would prefer win they would say indy despite its dramatic decline. Monaco GP is without doubt the crown jewel of racing.

F1 drivers earn a lot more money than your average NASCAR driver(not that that is a 100% measure of talent). The sponsership deals are far more lucrative.

the only F1 drivers that are going to NASCAR are ones that have no other option and yes it is bigger and richer than most other motorsports but not F1, not even close.

Channel 4 said on Friday it has scrapped next year's "Celebrity Big Brother", one of its most popular shows, in sweeping changes to its primetime schedule.
Director of Television Kevin Lygo said all but one of the programmes currently shown at 9 p.m. will disappear from the 2008 line-up to clear the decks for new shows.
"It is time to be brutal with some much-loved shows in order, once again, to make way for the new," he said in a statement.
"Our ratings will almost certainly continue to fall, but the alternative is more of the same and that is not what the channel is about."
No more Z listers having brakedowns on TV for us to laugh at.

I have had them for over 7 years now, so I know that summers they shed a lot, esp since we have no AC. But this summer (which has not even been that hot) they are loosing so much hair it is making me crazy.
One big problem is ever since they were kittens, they have HATED being brushed. They tollerate it for about 30 sec/day. I have tried many different brushes and towels and find I have to stick to the bristled one simply because it removed the most hair. My tabby is actually loosing so much hair that it can come out in clumps and it actually mating on her back legs and rear area. They are short hair cats. I didn't think this was possible. Giving them a bath is like suicide but I may be at that point, though I also know that I don't really want to stress them out. They are relativiely stress free indoor cats with a very good diet.
Can I get them to love the brush/comb? A magical shed less potion? Will I ever stop vacuuming every day???

A military leader with No military experience or one with actual ground time (not 60's and 70's playing at the National Guard)....So as I don't 'offend' any conservatives, I'll use their own ......Eisenhower who was a five star general on the battlefield in WWII or Reagan who sold war bonds but didn't even bother to enlist. Eisenhower's son was in the military, none of Reagan's were. So who would you follow? Someone who actually saw battle and had their children in rank and file besides yours or someone who was not in the military nor were any of their near-and-dears....... who do you feel would make the better leader.
