If I study for exams I learn all the info and that's fine, but then as soon as I've done my exam *kapoof* it's gone! e.g. i'm studying psychology and did a module on forensic psych, and i just read a question about psychopaths. if i looked at my notes i could answer it in detail, but am i supposed to know it off the top of my head? is this the point of college?

Im 15 n plan to start karate in the near future but first i want to study it a little and maybe learn different styles while at it. Some of my favorites styles are Karate, TKD, Muay Tai, Ju jitsu, and i think thats it.... WHAT ARE SOME GOOD BOOKS? USEFUL ONES NOT JUST LEARN THE BASICS.
i prefer sources(books) that i can find at a library much easier.

Can starting birth control at the wrong time (different than what the package says) make you have slight cramping, or these strange feelings in the abdomen? Also, I heard they will make my period start when I am through the active pills. And when I first started the birth control I had unprotected sex, but he didn't orgasm. Still, I hear precum can get you pregnant. That was about a week or two ago. Do you think I'm pregnant or it's just the birth control? I am also getting closer to the time where I might get my period, I just might be late. I'm not sure!!!

i just got my fire bellied toad about 3ish hours ago and got a "larger" liazar bowl for him to bath/swim in. And have pebbles i got from the store where i got him. I put them into my tank covering the floor about 2cms deep maybe more i have some fake plants quite a few theres lots of foiliage what else should i get or remove im looking for simple feedback its summer i live on vancouver island BC so theres not such hot weather its a rain forest here but the tank where they were in the store never had a heat bulb or a heat source in there with them should i get one or wait until winter time?

can property be levied for income tax? or is it just property taxes?

If so, will the taxing agency attempt to collect through wage withholding first or will they try to secure the property first? is a lien on the property the last attempt to collect or their first?

say someone works for a payroll company and constantly gets tax levies from state and federal agencies and this person knows that there is no way the agency will be able to collect from the wages on this person. could this person doing the payroll then turn around and kind of have "insider information" on a potential upcoming property tax lien?

I'd assume this could probably be illegal but it was just a thought that occurred to me.

as many as 1 in 1500 babies are born "intersex", that is no discernable gender. many times, doctors, sometimes with parent's permission, have just assigned a gender, in an attempt to give the child in question a "normal" life. surgery is done in many of these cases to complete the picture. many times the assignment is wrong. later in life, this decision is going to cause a person to be viewed as a homosexual, when in fact, they were given a wrong diagnosis.

my question is:

what would your religion say about something of this nature?

i mean, 1 in 1500 of our population,maybe more, have faced this. that's quite a few people affected.

how many have you judged?

Ok I'm fed up of myself and others who share my views on immigration etc. How dare others brand us racists and stop any kind of meaningful debate, i hate racism but this isn't it.

I don't want our traditions to be diluted away as swarms of immigrants dilute our culture. I am in no mean uneducated for those of you are going to accuse that, i actually have several A-levels and currently proceeding with a career as a RAF Officer.

The fact is I dont judge people by the colour of skin or anything like that, i judge them by their actions. I just cant stand by and watch england, wales, scotland and the whole of britain be over run with foreigners that are either going to commit terrorism, crime or just sponge off the state.

I know we need the workers, but they should not be put before British citizens and take handouts from taxpayers money. Every year we take in many idividuals that not only show contempt for our way of life but vow to destroy it!

I welcome your views . .

We as Christians are the ones that got to be careful what we say because WE have the knowledge. Insulting a non-believer is just pushing them away. And when you push people away from God, YOU have the chance of losing approval from God!
We are to use love. We are not suppose to attack each other but try to reason with non-believers!
Non-believers are easier to be forgiven by God because they don't know, but WE as christians know what we are doing. And doing something that we know is wrong (like insulting others) is what makes it a sin!

So just heard that I am decent and sensitive and yes i am a woman.What's wrong with that? Does that mean that we should not be I mean not only women but men too? I think we should all have more compassion, just little things will bring me to tears. What is wrong with that. Sure I feel things , I feel things. I cry sometimes when I watch the national news, solders dying, etc. So does that make me a whimp? Does it classify me as "making a mountain out of a molehill"? Sorry I am just kinda making one right now.LOL But it's on my mind and wonder how or what you take is on this. Thanks friends.

My friend is visiting LA and she's planning on getting around using public transportation. Let's say she checks out a show in Hollywood at night and plans to get back to Long Beach by Metro Rail after that. Is it safe to ride the Metro Rail during late hours? I think I heard somewhere that the blue line is kind of (for the lack of a better word) ghetto. I've never been on one so I wouldn't know, but I am concerned.

Any thoughts?

This is our second time asking our landlord to fix the air conditioning in our 4 bedroom house, the first time he refused to cover the air ducts in the recommended way the ac tech advised, he just basically laid a blanket over the air duct. Our electricity bill is sky high and our thermostat is set to 68 degrees, it reads 80 as the room temperature, keep in mind it is 113 degrees outside. Even the tech said that the ducts werent connected to certain rooms, so basically the air is going into the attic or outside...We asked again to have someone come out to look at it, he doesnt want to tell us what is wrong, he says dont worry about it, what rights do we have as far as compensation or breaking our lease due to negligence?

I have two questions about Six Flags. First, how much do the tickets cost? It didn't say how much on the site. I'm going to the one in Chicago. And second, how dangerous is it? Like, what's the chance of getting hurt? I'm not scared of roller coasters, I really like them, but I heard a lot of stories about some people getting their feet chopped off and everything.
