my stupid parrot is always asking for a cracker. WHY?

No disrespect to our men in uniform because not all of them do this...

But on several occasions, I've almost been struck by a squad car going 15 miles over the speed limit, with no lights/sirens, and stops at the red light ahead, so obviously he's not heading to an emergency...and I ALWAYS see police officers speeding, riding someone's bumper, and changing lanes without signaling!...But aren't these the same things they pull everyone else over for???....
Sometimes I wish I could give THEM tickets for violating the same traffic laws that WE get penalized for!...lol
Anybody else experience this?

I recently had a soldier order a CD from me. His address was an APO that said United States and had a zip code, but I had to fill out a customs form. Does mail to these types of addresses always go overseas? How does it work??

I have a long time friend I just recently found again, and he tells me he was discharged dishonorably from the marines. He told me that he was lax in his duties and late sometimes, and did not take authority well. Can you get discharged from the marines for this? Or is there something more that he is not telling me? He is such a bright individual and his life is pretty scummy right now, I'm led to believe that there is more that he is not telling me.

...love? I mean... well, I'll explain WHY I'm asking this.
I believe in varying degrees of love. You see a woman and her kids killed in a car crash on the news. You feel sad. That's love. You find out that your favorite checker at Wal-Mart passed away last night. You feel sad. That's love. Your best friend moves to Hong Kong. You're lonely; you miss them. That's love. You meet a guy/girl and can't imagine being without them. That's love. You have two kids together (or adopt?). You want to cry when you see them crying. That's love.

This is my issue. People make too much out of that word. I tell a friend of mine that I love him. He says, "Ok." I tell another friend I love him. "Really? OMG."

I don't mean that I'm IN LOVE with them, nor do I mean that I want to MAKE LOVE to them. I just love them, but society has made the word into something that it isn't.

So my question is just that: What do you think about love?

I do cleaning and was dusting a shelf close to the floor and someone there(their employee) left a file cabinet open,i stood up and slammed my head and should have gotten stitches,but didnt ,now they want to fire me cuz i said they are liable and could get sued ,they seem to think this i a workmans comp issue but i think its a negligence issue ,doe's anyone know about this kind of stuff? thank you
