I went on a short road trip over the weekend, about 40 miles from home. I stopped by a large chain bookstore, and found that the "atheist section" was five books on an endcap, but closer to home, I can find anything I could ever want. What has your experience been?

i read a lot...all day long...and i fell that more that i read less that i can comunicate with people around me..i think this is because i fell superior to them(i feel smarter because i read..altough i know that i'm not the only one who reads..but in my family i am)..should i stop reading?what to do to stop having these feelings?

If the earth is really millions of years old, then there should be alot more people, animals, trees, bugs and stuff. There should be thousands times more life than there is.The planet would be FULL with no place to move. But it's not. So that's just another gap that evolution can not explain.

When a human here on Earth dies, their spirit either goes to Heaven or Hell. But very very few of their spirits stay stuck on here on Earth when they die. I think they are called ghosts, and the places their spirts roam is considered haunted. Well I don't know if they exist or not, but if they do then why is their spirit stuck here. Is it their own free will that decides they want to stay here? Is Earth considered a Purgatory. Can they decide if they can go to Heaven or Hell if they get bored here. I thought God judges us and makes us go to either Heaven or Hell, but then why do some stay here. I don't remember hearing when people die they can stay here too.

i went to stay at my girlfriends house (i'm 15) and she has six ghosts in her house and i've stayed there many times before without a problem but last night i awoke to a dark figure standing over me and my girlfriend said she had an uneasy feeling so she walked downstairs to where i was at the time and the dark figure ran off into her parents room and it wasn't a human i know that much...please i need to know why it did it that night and not any other night is it maybe cause i took her out of her room (which is where the dark figure stays) and it hasn't ever come off the bottem step of her stairs untill last night please help me...

Some retired deputy sheriffs went to a retreat in the mountains. To save money, they decided to sleep two to a room. No one wanted to room with Daryl, because he snored so badly. They decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take turns.
The first deputy slept with Daryl and comes to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his eyes all bloodshot. They said, "Man, what happened to you"?
He said, "Daryl snored so loudly, I just sat up and watched him all night."
The next night, it was a different deputy's turn. In the morning, the same thing happened. His hair was all standing up and his eyes were all bloodshot. They said, "Man, what happened to you? You look awful!"
He said, "Man, that Daryl shakes the roof. I watched him all night."
The third night was Frank's turn. Frank was a big burly ex-football player. A man's man. The next morning, he came to breakfast bright eyed and bushy tailed.
"Good morning!" he said.
They couldn't believe it! They said, "Man, what happened"?
He said, "Well, we got ready for bed. I went and tucked Daryl into bed and kissed him goodnight. He sat up and watched me all night long."

Note: Each connection has it's own modem, but it's under the same Linksys Router, which is used to share the internet signal. I am curious cuz our technician at our Internet Cafe has done so, but the ten computers on DsL seem to not be working too well, it works but keeps saying sometimes" page cannot be displayed". While the ones on the satelite connection do work great. My question is: Is it possible that those 10 computers are giving problems cuz of the fact that the IP addresses get confused because it's only one Router being used? Please help me out with this one!

the Pearly Gates. St. Peter tells him that Heaven is filling up fast and that he has to answer 3 questions.

St. Peter says "The first question is: What 2 days of the year begin with the letter "T? Second: How many seconds are there in a year? Third: What is God's first name?"

So, Forrest comes back the next day, after he thought about the questions. "Forrest, let me hear your answers"

"Ok, well the first answer would be Today and Tomorrow."

St. Peter said "Well, thats not what I was expecting, but I can give you credit, let me hear your second answer"

Forrest says "The answer is 12."

"Forrest, how did you get 12?"

"Well there is Janurary 2, February 2..."

"Ok, Forrest, I can give you credit for that one too, what is the last answer?"

Well that one was the hardest, but his name is Andy"

"How in the world did you get that?"

"Well, the song, Andy he walks with me, and he talks with me..."

St. Peter opens the gates and says "Run, Forrest, Run!"
