I have an ex that just doesn' want to let go. He was a total control freak, controlling every possible aspect of my life. What happened at the end of our relationship is that I slept with another guy. Yeah, I know, I know. I am not the cheating kind and I never did that before. This controlling guy just drove me to the wall after 4 years of hell. I am still struggling with my mistake and have hard time forgiving myself. But I never loved my ex, which I realized at the end.

I told him I do not want to be friends due to his controlling behaviour which makes him appaling to me, but he is having a really hard time getting over me that he thinks he can force me to talk to him by blackmailing me. He says he will tell my boss what happened ( I am a PhD student and the guy I slept with was a project student from another country in our lab).

if you strap a piece of buttered toast to a cat's back what happens when the cat falls off of something? Will the cat land on it's feet defeating the buttered toast theory or will the toast land buttered side down defeating the cat landing theory??

My oldest little boy is now 4yrs. I bought him a gold fish when he was 7 mos. old. The fish has got huge! I'm really worried b'cause his scales are sticking out on the sides and its reddish in color where they are sticking out. He looks like he is going to explode. Do you really think all 12 million of those undocumented immigrants are here from Mexico alone? Get a clue!

Studies document, even in the biased Center for Immigration Studies that:
Out of the 12 million illegal immigrants 8 million of them are Mexican. Now this may seem like a massive amount of those "still" illegal but out of the 33 million foreign born migrants, 15 million of them are Eastern Europeans who in the last 10 years have done it using anchor babies and scam marraiges through prostitution.
No one really want to expose the seedy underbelly of the problem but you may consider those 7.9999 million Mexicans lawbreakers but only a small handful of them actually do real crime like forging documents or running drugs, whereas Eastern Europeans have entire money laundering schemes, credit card fraud and they do it using the holes in the system.

So go ahead and tighten up the border and build better walls and stop hardworking people from getting jobs and contributing.

You are encouraged to feel pride in you race & skin color if you are anything but white.If you are of white-European descent you are told to feel guilty over things that you are not responsible for & happened before you were even born.The words cracker & honky are considered funny.While the words beaner & coon are considered racist.It is ok to use the term pale-face yet it isn't ok to call someone a darky.A minority can call a white person pretty much anything they want & not have to worry about being considered a racist.White people are forced to be overly sensitive & politically correct almost all the time.Blacks have the NAACP & BET.Hispanics have LaRaza & UniVision & TeleMundo.There are 300 million Americans.Two thirds of us are white.That means there are 200 million white people in America.Who speaks for us?

I got an email a while ago that said the lady swore by it. As soon as you get stung you are to put a penny on the sting and something with the copper is supposed to help it. Any one try it?? I hate getting stung so I am not about to test out the myth but if anyone has done it let me know.

I recently visited a street fair in Chicago where the suggested donation was $10 (for the privilege to walk up and down a closed off street with shops, food stands, and a live band). We paid the full suggestion, but I think it was a little ridiculous. A couple weeks ago at another fest where the donation was $5, a person in front of me wanted to donate less but the people at the entrance would not let the person in until they paid the full donation (they basically guilt-tripped the guy into paying in full and wouldn't let him pass until he did so). What is protocol for this type of thing?

I'm 15 and I'm going to spain this summer with my my friends but I don't know whether to wear a bikini like them. I'm 5ft 3 and a UK 10/12. Will I look out of place if I just wear a tankini/swimsuit? I think I'd be more comfortable that way but I don't want to seem boring and look ugly compared to my (thinner) friends. What do you think?

I'm thinking about installing a whole-house fan, but I'm a bit worried about the back-draft leaks that I've read about (apparently air from the attic can leak back into the house when it's turned off). If I installed the fan in my bathroom, I could simply close the bathroom door during the day to stop draft problems rather than attaching a fan cover after each use. Could I install the fan here, or would I run into some kind of moisture problem? (the bathroom has a shower) I wouldn't be using the fan as a bathroom vent, since one already exists here.
