report violations in credit or debt collections?
For example, SEC controls financial trades, FCC controls radio and television....

Who do I contact to report illegal debt collection practices?

Verizon phone uses AFNI to collect debts and I just now found out I'm in debt $300 to em from seven years ago?!?. I did a google search on "Verizon AFNI" and found many people reporting it as a rip off double billing or not even their responsibility. I need to know who the reporting agency is so I can use it as a velvet hammer to get to the bottom of the situation.

uh okay ... so I err... have this friend who has a problem, well, kleptomania to be exact... what should I do?
Should i encourage this person to steal... and get stuff out of it?

should I join them and do it too?

or should I try to help them stop?

oh yea, they don't steal from friends or anything, just stores and SOMETIMEs, very rarley money from their rents [[coz the can just get what they want for free... if you know what I mean]]

I have a 40k bike race a week from today. 40k is really not a big distance for me. I didn't know what else to do to get better, so I joined a spinning class two weeks ago. So far, I don't know if it's helping at all. The first class the instructor got mad I was going too fast and getting the stationary bike off the ground, so she set the resistance to maximum, I was able to hanlde it still. I've been going everyday, but I'm not even breaking a sweat during the hour. I'm thinking of taking 2 hours in a row just to get my money's worth.

Did I waste my money? Or are these classes helping some way I'm not aware of?

I dyed my hair soft black about 3 weeks ago....3 days later u could see that it was washing out and now its like a dark brown....i really want black...so should i re-dye it again BLACK...or should i just wait for like a couple months....or does my hair just not like black....it seems that everytime i dye it a color that i end up liking it fades...but when it turns out o be a color i HATE it stays in forever and ever and ever lol.....

Hey everyone,

I am 19 with a 25 year old girlfriend, and I am living with my Grandparents for the time being. They are both roughly 80 years old. I work with my girl, and we have none of the same days off, and have different hours as well. So, the only time I can see her is at 9:30pm when she gets off work, until about no later then 11:30pm. I do that 2 - 3 times a week. I've been goin out with her for about 3 months.

Now, my grandparents have all these assumptions that my relationship with her is affecting my work, and it's affecting other things about me. She might be moving to Texas at the end of the month, so I decided to ask my employer permission for a friday off to spend with her, which I was approved. They think that my employer would get mad or dislike me going out with this girl that I work with. WELL, half the people there are together, so I know it's not affecting my work, and plus I am one of the best employees there! Can someone just speak there mind on thesituation

I have noticed that alot of people on here say "no dog should be around kids, any dog can snap anytime" While it is true that any dog can be aggressive it is also true that any dog can be trained and socialized so that they are excellent with kids. I have been around dogs my entire life.. since I was a baby playing with my family dog on the floor, I have never been bitten and I have never been snapped at by any dog belonging to and trained by my family and friends. Siberian Husky, Bouvier, Springer Spaniel, Labs, Malamutes, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Mutts, Chows, American Bulldogs... the list goes on. I have lived with over 14 dogs in my life all of them around children all the time and not one of them ever hurt a child or an adult for that matter.. I just dont understand the attitude people have that all dogs will eventually attack children, its untrue and frankly idiotic. Keeping children and dogs apart increases the risk of a bite.. Kids need to learn about dogs and vice versa.

Okay on April 27th I was with a guy, and I am seriously in a lot of guilt and pain right now emotionally. We were fooling around, and although no sexual intercourse took place, I just have this crazy fear. Things were getting a little out of hand, and he kept fingering me. Although there was nothing like a "glob" of his liquid (seminal fluids) on his fingers, I am not sure if there was maybe a LITTLE. The thing is, he also never went fully "in"...perhaps 1 inch MAX (I am a virgin so it started hurting). We were rubbing up against each other a lot and I am worried maybe some of his seminal liquids got into me....

What are the odds I could be pregnant? My period is due on the 18th of May, PLEASE HELP ME. I realize I made a horrible mistake. I really do. Can someone just tell me if I should be worried? :( My cycle is about 30 days. The time I was with the guy was about 4-5 days away from my ovulation date (may 2nd). I dont know if that matters but please consider it :(

[For people who read the Bible]
I am an emotionally and physically strong women who has yet to find a real man who takes care of all of his manly duties.

Men are more likely to cheat, more likely to commit suicide, more likely to run away from responsiblity of taking care of there own kids, but yet God gives Men authority over Women.
I don't understand this because not all Men are qualified to have authority over Women, and some women are not qualified to be mothers.
Women are just as intelligent as men, but get inferior roles in the Bible. If women make better judgments, why can't we teach Men.

It's 2007 and clearly most people care less about following rules that the Bible gives. The men have lost there leadership abilities and the women have lost there dignity.

My daily life includes things that men should be doing, but I can endure those things with no stress.

If a woman has something important to say, then say it.
If a woman can beat a man at "His Own Game" than do it.

My BMI says that i am overweight. I have always had issues with my weight, mostly due to what is considered sexy in todays society. i just want other peoples opinion of what i should do? lose weight or stay the way i am. i want to lose weight but my husband doesnt want me to. its more of a self image issue. i think that if i lost weight i would feel better about myself.

i didnt realize it was expired (about a month ago)... it was completely sealed and was not brown or slimey at all...but right after i ate it my stomach started hurtung real bad...i dont know if i should ignore it, try to throw up, or go to the hospital...

Honestly, do we really need all the remarks like "Your religion is dumb and illogical," "Maybe so, but you're going to burn in Hell!" "Only a brainwashed loon would believe that," "Everyone is going to burn except for me and my religious cohorts!" and so on?

In the days when you had to march for weeks carrying all your
stuff with you and after weeks of marching finally fighting the
opponent in hand to hand combat, young and fit made sense.
But now war is a technological thing, hand to hand combat is a
thing of the past. You get flown in, Catering right behind you , forking out hamburgers and other goodies at base camp.
You drive round in vehicles, infra red telescopes, a.s.o.
The days of the bayonet are over, 'older' people would often do
just as well.But they don't !!, youngsters with their whole life ahead of them die. It seems utterly unfair.
Is it a cultural thing ?. are settled people over a certain age utter cowards
protecting their interest just shedding crocodile tears?.
Happy to chicken out because war is a youngsters job ?.
