Check out the 'Who Would Jesus Torture?' question first before responding to this. While I do not condone the thrust of the question, I am also very perplexed by the responses.

Apparently to some people (note: not all Christians):
* It is OK to torture people if they are different than you.
* It is OK to torture people if they are fighting you.
* It isn't OK to torture people, but what can a Christian do about it? They can only take care of themselves, and that's all they need to do.

This confuses me. I thought Jesus preached to love your fellow man, and to do well by your enemy. I thought that Christianity was supposed to bring with it equality, harmony, and love for your fellow man.

So where does permission for torture enter into this, and why is there apparently no conflict between condoning torture and following Jesus? It would seem to me there would be a big conflict. I find the idea that there isn't terrifying and cruel.

as a 16 year old, i have horrific menstrual cramps. they are said to be 4x worse then having a contraction. i was looking up going on the pill and was checking up on loestrin 24 fe.

We are making a home movie/video.We have a script in place.The story has 4 guy characters & 1 girl character.
However,we are 4 girls & 1 guy.So we decided that we 4 play the male roles & he plays the female role.
The role is of a housewife.Shd he be wearing a saree with kajal, bindi, sindoor and mangalsutra or shd we dress him up more elaborately....I mean really doll him up.

My fiance and I have been together for 7 years and are planning on getting married soon. Through out that time he has talked about the idea of having another person in our lives to go on road trips with, etc. I always just thought he meant a friend. He asked me to be open and have a relationship with another woman. He didn't want to have one with her by himself, he wanted us to be a family. I tried, un-happily. I am not really attracted to women but I love my fiance so much I thought I would try to be open minded. A few months after we ended things with her, and I thought it was all over, he found another woman. She ended up in a bad situation and had no where to live. So he asked if it would be ok if she stayed on our couch for a while. He told me he wanted to try a relationship with her. I wanted to make him happy so I said yes. Now she is living with us. He considers us all in a relationship. I don't know what to do? Has this happend to anyone before? : (

He got where he is because he deserves it. As does everyone else that makes it that far. So quit buggin' about him being a hotshot because he is one. When you make it that far, people would think your something too. I know others agree with me. Just had to let that out. Keep it up JR, your awesome. Anyone agree?

Okey! Here is the deal! There are too many cops out there giving SPEEDING tickets and meanwhile Gangs, Killers or Sexual minors CrazY M*F out there! Explain to me! Is it that our cops are not trained to shoot the RIGHT guy or Just GIVING TICKETS?

Biblically, we are told that a woman causes Adam, the first man to fall, then Sampson the strongest to fall, & Solomon the wisest to fall, along with King David, who loved God with all his heart.

I am afraid of women. I confess, I am afraid to date a woman. I have no problem getting a woman. It is easy, because I am a pretty good guy, mostly, I mean I treat people kindly.

But I am afraid to date or get married, afraid of being seduced into doing wrong, just like all the other men. I must stay single so I can stay strong, right?

It is a conflict, I am being torn apart by the sweetness & kindness of some women, & the desire to mate & have a family, but that wars against my terrible fear she will make me do something I will regret.

Or something I didn't want to do.

It feels almost like I can't live with a woman because they are so evil, but I can't live alone because the desire to have a beautiful woman as wife is so strong.

Please tell me what to do, I am going crazy here!!!
