is something moral because god says so or does moraltiy exist anyway?

here is an example... god appears to you in dream and asks you to murder an innocent child....

2 possible answers to this

the first is that god would never ask you to do something immoral.... obviously thats based on your definition of morality not his (so god is irrelevant here)

secondly if what god says is moral!!!... then how could it ever moral be to kill a child (so god is irrelevant here)

either example renders morality a human construct where god plays no part

agree ?

two years ago i suffered a horrible break up where i felt I was nothing. I was even admitted to the hospital because i tried to kill myself. so I met this cop that likes to cheat on his wife, he was using me strictly for sex. I just thought she didn't give it up to him, come to find out she does, she wants it all the time. so why was he so after me. after I found out he was still married ( cuz he told me he was seperated ) I was crushed. I wanted him to leave his wife and be with me. I even offered to help take care of his kids with him. why would I let myself go that low to sleep with a married man. I got feelings for him though and so I would't stop. to me it wasn't just sex it was more.

Which Vista is the best?
I currently have XP and caught my self a Worm and was thinkin about gettin Vista since I have to do "format C:" anyways.
I do alot in the Internet and I like to play a bunch of games and I love to listen to music!
I like to call myself a parttime PC freak... :D

i went ot the dr today and he said it was just a random virus or whatever, and not like pnuemonia or anything, and he gave me prescription cough syrup that has codeine in it and i think some other stuff too but i don't know what. only i'm still coughing a lot, like as in most of the time there's not even a whole minute between when i stop coughing and when i start again.

i took 2 tsp of the prescrition stuff, which said to take 1.5 to 2 tsp, and it didn't help at all. yesterday i took 3 tsp of robitussin (it says to take 2 tsp) and that didn't help either. can i take another tsp of the prescription one? can i take both at once? what else can i do?

hi, im facing a problem, i think many of you faced before, plz be patient with me i want to tell u the full story, i met a girl in college, i liked her, she became my g.f, we had lots of fun times, and ofcourse lots of kisses and soft sex(no intercourse), for about 2 years, we were planning to get married, after college, before graduation we had a big fight abt somthin stupid, and she decide it tht we shld stay apart for a while, i agreed. after college i came back to her as i promised to propose to her formaly, i talked to her parents and ,, surprisingly she didn't agree,and said she doesn't love me anymore, so, after 1 month i heard she got married to a professor in the same college. ok, all i want to know is how to get over someone when they do this to you?. and now i feel tht girls don't know the real love. is it somthin wrong with me?? i appreciate any help. thanks to all.
