seems to me lots of "facts" are thrown around, from creation in ages instead of days, the Bible mentioning dinosaurs, no direct missing link, bacterial flaggellum showing design, etc. I think a practical way to come at it is through Noah's Ark. At the end of the day, this either happened or the Bible is wrong about it(thus bringing the whole book under scrutiny). it creates a convenient "restart" of most life on Earth not too long ago, and should be easier to prove right or wrong than where and when humanity origninated and whether or not bacteria or some laws of physics show design, right?

They do not provide support, cartilage does. The diaphram and skeletal muscles of the ribs control inspiration and expiration. Why do we need muscles lining our airways?

im a sophomore in a secondary school and i just wonder if evolution in dinosaurs really happened because based on the fossil records, for me, they did not evolve but simply disappeared. I need your help to correct or approve my intuition.

Ok. All I have is the video to go from. At the beginning there is a boy reading a book and then he is in an old house. He runs into most of the band members and an old man with a big mustache. At the end of the video the boy turns into the old man. It not much and the answer is on the tip of my tongue but I can't get it.

The billionaire Richard Branson recently offered $25M to whoever can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1 billion tonnes per year and will choose a winner after 5 years. Also leading this fight on global warming is former vice president Al Gore. Apparently Branson is using profits from his airline to research alternative fuels.

But one has to think... Someone like Branson, who brings so much attention to himself through the media, could be using this for alternative motives. Also the fact that he owns an airline and contributes to global warming is a bit contradictory.

What are your thoughts on Branson's actions? Should more billionaires follow his suit? Will this help? Do you even think Global warming is an issue when comparing it to the seemingly everlasting war on terrorism? Let's hear your opinions.

Sometimes while I am still 'up to my knees in mud' and I pray really hard and keep hoping that God will answer my prayers soon, I am so blind and do not realise he was already ansering my prayers. It is only after the thing is over that I realise that God actually did answer my prayers. And to htink I doubted Him

How would you know God has answered your prayers? If He chooses not to say yes, how do you know that Hs answer is no or that he wants you to wait a while more? How do you keep your faith going strong while you wait for His anwer?

Why or why not? They tell them that it's impossible that dinosaurs could have lived millions of years ago because the bible says otherwise. But they do not tell them why scientists think they are that old. They completely brainwash kids to be ignorant of science. And I am very disgusted by watching this. A child is too young to debate evolution and creation. These are the same people that believe in Santa. People should be able to teach children about there god. But I mean to reduce the theory of evolution the way they do and to call proven facts lies is completly harmful to there development as intelligent individuals. And they also have the nerve to say scientist's are stupid because God is the only one that has been around long enough to understand the creation of the universe. He implies that genesis was written by god what the hell.

I have liked this girl at college since the beginning of the semester but i found out later on she had a bf. I have talked to her a tiny bit here and there and she always says hi when i see her in school. I would love to get to know her better but my workload is bad and she is in a relationship. What i was planning to do was to e-mail her once the school year is over and tell her in a nice way that i thought she was one of the prettyist girls i have even seen and i have had a sorta crush on her since i first saw her and if she would like to talk on msn i would like that even just as friends. One last thing im leaving college for good and probably won't see her again but i don't want to not try anything and regret it later. Because something could happen down the road.
