I bought a 1998 Ford countour brand new at
the time. It has been a nightmare. 6 recalls for
defective parts, broke down four time while warrenty still on. Then small part in engine cost
me $900.00, then flywheel $1000.00, starter
$240.00, three water pumps, catyllytic converter,
$600.00. Now after Driven for about 30 min
tranission slips. Any cheap suggestions. I'm
broke?

I'm a high schooler looking to learn some programming. I run cool apps such as Keepass, Truecrypt, OpenOffice, Super Pi and Firefox. I would love to learn how they work, and I'm also looking to learn some web page design (though desktop apps are more important to me).

After doing some research, it seems that C++ is the king of powerful and efficient languages. Java is better for web design and is easier to program, but C# seems to be taking over Java. I'm pretty confused... it would seem that C++ is the way to go, for a first programming language, but it's pretty difficult to learn and maybe Java/C# is better.

I'm hesitant about going to C#... not that I dislike Microsoft, but I prefer not to be chained to .Net. "Marketability" is also a motivating factor.

Hope you programming gurus have some good advice :)

Hello. I am just starting to date again. Besides bars, where are good places to meet and interact with guys for dating purposes.

I don't like being too obvious, but it would be nice to go somewhere where it is easy to meet people without seeming desperate or like I am on the prowl.

For the past 5 years, I have gone to my brothers home on Christmas Eve. It has never reallly been enjoyable. There is a Yankee Swap that seems to turn people nasty. I do not want to go this year. I havent been invited yet but they have in the past usually called one or two days before. I dont care if my brother and his wife have any opinions. I would only go to see their child. Whats a good way to say NO without causing a family feud.

Ok, silly question.
When I bite chocolate with my back teeth, they get very sensitive and start to hurt a lot.
I've found that this doesn't happen EVERY time but around 75% of the time, it will.
My teeth could get brushed a bit more often and I was using toothpaste for sensitive teeth for a while but that didn't work.

I was eating a chocolate biscuit today and I found that it happened even when I bit down using my front teeth!
I wish it didn't happen to such a good treat =D
What type of toothpaste could I use to make it go away?
What can I do to get the pain to go away while eating chocolate?
