What is your opinion on this..... every year my husband and I get a few gifts each for our three kids, but my mom goes nuts. She gets tons for each and it upsets my husband. It doesn't really bother me, but he feels it's too much. What's your opinion?? Thanks

This week (at this very moment) the Pope will visit Turkey. IT will mark the first time the papacy has visited the mostly Islamic state (even though it is secular) since Pope John Paul II did it in 1978.
The pope visits despite huge protest amongst Muslims who are dissapointed about his visiting amidst his speach last September and also with what's gone on at Haghia Sophia (a former 6th century Christian church turned Mosque after the Muslim turks ransaked Constantinople!)

I was at L&D yesterday for 8 hours. Contractions coming every three minutes and 1-2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Baby is big-measuring at 36 weeks. They said there is no way I am going to make it to my EDD in Jan. When do you think baby will come? They gave me turpeline to stop contractions--but gave me nothing for home and they didn't put me on bedrest. So I guess I am on my own. Any ideas or thoughts on when baby will come? This is my 4th.

So much so that he is pawning things, utilities are getting cut off. I'm sooooooooooo angry we have 2 children and I think about divorce all of the time. Once upon a time things were really good and they have progressively gotten worse. I also found out he was talking to a girl at work before and after hours but he insists it is work related. Yeah right! Anyway, I'm only staying for a babysitter and (part of) a paycheck! That's bad isn't it?
