The poem is unpublished and previously unknown. What 19th or 20th century British or American poet do you think most likely to have written this poem and on what basis do you arrive at your conclusion? The poem is titled "Stealing Thunder" and it is described as a sort of acrostic poem (the first letters of the major lines spelling the title of the poem).

Summer solstice long now past and tedium set in, I, alone,
in thought macabre, comes abrupt a knocking,
Trepidation gently tapping, tapping, tapping softly at my door,
so politely rapping at my secluded far-off door,
Evenfall now close at hand, a sickly fear of Death drawn nigh,
a guest perhaps not unexpected,
Abjectly knocking at my door, seeking to make myself its home,
to make my very self its own,
Lest I seem ungraced in meeting, guest, I bid thee welcome,
bid thee greeting, as will
I all who pass this way today, e'en noxious inquiline.

I am looking for a hosting company who provides easy to use, reliable content management systems so that clients who aren't familiar with html can update text and photos on the websites that I design & develop for them.

The company I've been using for awhile now is no longer efficient or reliable so I really need a company with a good reputation & experience.

Besides the (supposedly) celibate clergy out there. . .do you think it's possible to forego romantic relationships and still be happy in life? I'm thinking it is quite possible, but relationships seem so important to so many people--vital, even. However, it's impossible that all of us will find that special someone to fall in love with, so it seems to me that it's fine to find contentment in other areas of one's life, like careers or whatever. Other folks may think that's an unnatural way of looking at things, though. What's your take on the subject?

I was forced to protect myself from a parent that entered the school looking for a fight. The parent hit me in my face and the fight was on. I am a fighter so for a minute I forgot that I was a Officer and kicked that parents butt. Now the principle won't let me work in her building anymore. So my question is what would you do if it happen to you? Would you have dealt with it differently or would you have done what I done?

My husband is disabled with muscular distrophy, I am a hard working nurse with 2 kids at home. My husband's disability check is almost completely garnished for child support. This child moved in with us and the mother continued to take the money, plus she gets his disability check (all the kids get a check of their own each month) Then the child (17 yrs old) moved in with his aunt...mother is still taking our money. Before he moved out he racked up almost $400 in phone calls. We are drowning here and child support wont help us. We even have his report card that is mailed to us with our address on it. Now, we get a letter that they will take our income taxes (mine, that is) because we had a hold put on the money while an investigation is under way....I was going to contact our senator..........any suggestions???

I have the EFS 18-55mm lens that came with the camera and it is quite good but, it is a bit lacking if you get out of auto or program modes. I got nothing but confused looking at Canon's website for a better lens. Some will fit only certain digitals. I have all the 35mm film lenses I need so I'm not looking for one that fits both types of camera. However, I would like a lens that is not dedicated to the Rebel should I decide to upgrade my camera in the future. Right now I am looking for a wide angle zoom with large enough aperture to blur background. I haven't been able to achieve this with much success with the 18-55. Any thoughts out there worth looking in to?

My wife and I have been married for 2 years (we married as virgins). We have yet to consumate the marriage because we are waiting for the "right" moment! In the interim my wife gave birth to a child. We are both caucasion and my wife gave birth to a "brown" child. I believe it is immaculate conception because..
1. We are both virgins
2. The child is brown (christ was born in the middle east and was brown)
3. There has been no sex between us!

My wife insists we keep this to ourselves until the right moment to reveal our child's true identity.

I have to read a book and write a summary type thing about it for my psychology class, but I do not know of any good books that have a mental illness as a part of it for the main character. If anyone can help that would be GREAT!!!!
