I'm a beginner so I'm not sure. Which is easier to handle etc.?

Is it possible to mix your own gouache? I have watercolours at home so could I add something - maybe toothpaste - to create a homemade gouache?

She and I started as penpals and found that we are so much alike and understand one another. I love her so much. I can handle chatting online with her forever, but she feels weak sometimes because she needs me so much. Is it fair for her to give up on a life with no real lover, so she can be with me in cyberland?

I want to find someone who is in a similar situation. Are there any people out there like me?

I own a Kodak CX-7500 camera, which has been a great camera. My pictures are very clear, but the colors are just sort of normal. It's sorta like the Claritin commercial, where the picture looks clear, until that clear cover thing is lifted and all of the colors appear brighter. Nothing is wrong with my camera; I just want to make my colors look brighter, more like the pictures of beaches in travel magazines. I don't know a lot about photography, but I think it probably has something to do with color saturation. Am I right? Anyways, are there settings I can change on my camera to make the colors look brighter, or are there programs I can use that will improve the color of pictures I have already taken? My camera doesn't take different lenses, so that won't work. Any suggestions?

My husband used to be a really nice man. Now he gets really angry about anything and everything. I know he is depressed, but he won't take his tablets. He always says that there is nothing wrong, but to act the way he does, there definetely is. Living with him is awful, but I don't know what I can do to make things better for both of us. If I didn't have my little girl, I would just kill myself as that would be an easy answer, but I feel I don't have any other options available as it is too difficult to leave him. I don't get any pleasure out of my life except internet poker and doing things with my little girl (how sad is that?). I haven't had sex for months and my husband won't go out and do things like a normal family. I am depressed too (I take prozac) so I know how he feels (to a point), but I really can't go on like this. Please tell me what I can do.

After telling my best friend I'm in love with him and getting (politely) turned down, we are still the closest of friends.

At first I was just glad that he wasn't completely freaked out and horrified. The fact that he wanted to remain close friends was more than I could ever have hoped for. It was a huge gamble, after all.

The problem is, as we continue to spend most of our time together, I'm finding it increasingly painful to cope with the fact that he doesn't return my feelings. I value his friendship so highly- but, the fact is, I am in love with him and it's hurting me a great deal to be around him and have the rejection reinforced on a daily basis.

So I have been trying to ration my time with him. But the problem is that hurts too. So, should I just continue to be a good friend to him and learn to cope with the pain?

Too many of the American posters have only a dim grasp of the English language - are they just not very bright or were they too lazy to listen in class or are they still in middle school doing primary school work or what?

I have an unfinished basement. I only use it for laundry, and my computer... and i dont have a problem with it being colder than my upstairs. I was told that opening up my vents down here would help with my heating costs because heat rises, adn it would help with the rest of the house. What do you think? Agree? If so, why. Disagree? Why not? Please let me know what you think.

YOU ARE ONE
You are one of those people
who makes my heart skip a beat,
who will only stand and
watch from the other side of life.

You are one who walks on by and never turns back.
It makes me keep asking myself
if where I am is a big mistake,
if it is just another case of getting lost.
Should I plan my escape or leave without a trace.

You are one who gives me strength and hope.
Being with someone like you
is a road I never dare walk on.

Stay like this.
Keep your eyes on me.
Hold your breath for me.
Talk to me.
Make me smile.

Do what you are doing now.
Opening up to you is a path I never dare explore.

You are one who stays in my memory
and gets misplaced in my heart.

You are one who I hope is not my last chance
or I can never forgive myself for letting you slip.
xoxo
